Good morning @Flumpy @shiney and all my other friends have a lovely day and take it easy

So many things I could or need to get up to today - as I struggle with bending etc, I bought a telescopic weeding knife as our patio is a disaster (I want to re-point it in the new year); I also bought an el-cheapo garden vacuum with wee wheels on the nozzle end to allow me to clean up leaves etc, so I am hoping I can use that on the patio after I use my weeding knife to hoik out the weeds.

I also have a large box sitting at the back of the living room, and in that box is Christmas decorations and lights - - and the lights need unravelled, tested and repaired as appropriate, so a good excuse for me to give my meter an airing.

Finally, the lights under the cupboards in the kitchen need my attention, particularly given the time of year. We have a very light and airy house generally, with loads of windows, which we love. But the kitchen is quite gloomy despite having a large-ish window, mostly because it sits in the shade most of the day, caused by the way that our house is not in line with our neighbours; this is not too bad in the summer, but at this time of year we need a bit of extra light.

So, we will see how many (if any) I get done.

Well, I got some bits done - no less than 15 sets of Christmas lights now tested and working, with one set in particular requiring quite a lot of repairing - - somewhat ironically, after spending ages fixing them, I then discovered that we were missing one adaptor (there are six sets the same, including the repaired set, and only five adaptors), so I may well have wasted my time fixing them! Anyway, they are all packed up individually to make it easier come the time we go to use them

I will try @Flumpy, but I have the kitchen lights to give my attention to today, then I will no doubt find something else to amuse myself with. @Verdun - I think this is the first of a few wet days for you? Hope the storm coming in tomorrow isn't too bad for you.
