          Morning everyone, having a great time up in London, spent yesterday with oldest and youngest sons and their girlfriends. Staying with older son and girlfriend but also went to see younger son and girlfriend 's new place. We all went to a Christmas market then we all went out to a great Turkish restaurant. We are now debating where to go for breakfast before heading over to middle son and girlfriend 's for the day. They have bought their first house this year and are renovating it, haven't see it since July so looking forward seeing what has been done.:)

                Late brekkie as I watched the best fight (boxing with Tyson Fury) I've seen in a long, long time at 5 in the morning. A few of us prob kept some neighbours awake with our subtle involvement in the fight:snorky:

                    @Flumpy No, I live in Shineyland :heehee: (it's always called that here on GC). We're a good two hour drive south east of Manchester.

                    A lot of GC members turn up when we open our garden for charity each May. This was last year's invite and there are photos posted by members. In the first post there are the invites for previous years with photos of the garden and members. The first invite was in 2008 (listed as Sneak Preview) where I put pictures of the garden as it was then. It has altered considerably with a lot of plants dying and others needing replacement.

                    If you have the patience to scroll through all of them (you'll need a lot of time) you'll get a good idea of the garden and some of our members.

                    We now have people coming from all over the country and from other countries. We also have non-stop entertainment all day, a plant stall (plants propagated by Mrs Shiney), book stall etc.
