    Good morning everyone,

Its another cool, but sunny day here, and some frost overnight as well.

Off to Toronto, so have a great day everyone.

Hi Penny, Joolz, Shiney and everyone.
Shiney I hope a potter in the garden helps clear away those nasty bugs. I hope it is warmer where you are - it is chilly here!
OH has been working at his parents and they are kindly going to treat us to a couple of nights at The Blakeney Hotel which overlooks the estuary. Have a look on google - it looks lovely. We have been to Blakeney several times and been out to see the amazing seals but never stayed at the hotel before.

    Good morning everyone,

Just went to log on and see that I forgot to log of yesterday, ooops so at least I didn't need to do it today.:D

Jules love the close up photo of your cat Luna and will have to have a look at your garden thread in projects and also your cat photos in the pet section:thumbsup:.It is nice to see other members pets and also their gardens so we can all help advise on here as to the best course of action to take.Enjoy your day and don't work too hard :yess:

Shiney sorry to hear that you and Mrs Shiney are both unwell and hope that you both feel better soon.:yess:Please pass on my best wishes to Mrs Shiney :)

Jazmione enjoy your time away.We haven't been to Blackney in years :D

Penny hope you are keeping well and enjoyed Toranto yesterday :yess:

Had a good morning over at the lottie yesterday weeding the strawberries and turning some compost in the bags and have seen some flowers on more of the strawberries so hoping that we don't get a frost to blacken them.Had to come home though when it turned colder and it started to rain but we didn't get much of the wet stuff :D

Have a good day everyone :)

    Good morning everyone,

Thanks for your good wishes. Mrs shiney is a lot better and off on a coach trip to Marle Place garden in Kent. My aches have gone  but still not feeling brilliant. I wasn't able to make it to a meeting yesterday afternoon but managed to get to bridge last night. I'm still getting my hot flushes :heehee: but hope to get to a meeting tonight.

It's dull and quite cold out there today so I won't be doing anything in the garden, apart from filling up the bird feeder as the pheasants are all standing underneath it and looking up at it.

Jazmine, Blakeney's a lovely place. A friend of ours used to have a boat there and was featured in one of the postcards that was sold there as it was of the boats and he was painting his boat. Enjoy your stay there. :dbgrtmb:

Kandy, I never have to log into GC as I never log out :). You seem to be getting on very well at the lottie . Isn't it a bit early for strawbs to start flowering?

    Have a great day :D

Here you go Shiney, our first Strawberry flowers for 2011 and we also have the first bluebells out in our local woods, but the photos i took the other night of them came out blurred as the light was fading.Ours are in bud in the garden and only our white ones are in flower so won't have the bluebells out fully until next month i should think...

      Good morning Shiney and everyone.

Shiney,I was surprised as you are about the flowers and some of my other plants have them as well so it isn't a one off.I expect the variety is an early flowering one,but just hoping that we don't get a frost to kill off the flowers but need plenty of :sunny:

:hapbirth: 'Happy 60th' Birthday Jazmine for when it gets here this month. :) I seem to remember you saying the other week that you were celebrating your coming of age so as we don't know the exact date thought I would wish it to you now.Hope you have a good day when it gets here and don't forget to post some piccys of all your lovely cards and gifts:D

It looks like we have had some rain in the night so at least the garden and lottie have had a drink.:yess:

Hope you are all feeling a bit brighter today and I am looking forward to the London Marathon on Sunday as I like to sit in the comfort of my home and watch them :yess:

      Have a good day :)

      Good morning Kandy and everyone,

A lot of things in the garden seem to be blooming early this year. Our white lilac is in full bloom but the other colours are only just peeking through.

I'm off for my regular visit to the chiropractor today so hope to be able to get on with the gardening tomorrow. I trimmed the edges of the main lawns yesterday but wasn't able to pick up the clippings. Hopefully they will shrivel up.

I had to put the pressure washer away yesterday, which was a nuisance as it is so heavy, as my neighbour came round to say that he caught a suspicious looking character nosing in his garage (the door was open). The man said he had come in looking for odd jobs! My neighbour phoned the police about him. At least he can't nose around in my garage as I haven't got one. :heehee:

      Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone,

Awake early this morning so thought I might as well get up for a little while and catch up on replying to emails etc:D

By the way Shiney forgot to say you can't stay logged on on here as your name would be there with your little green light and as i see there is only me and Clueless on line at this present time you either logged out or the site logged you out :mute::heehee:
Glad to see that you have given up with the pressure washing for the time being. No poit in over doing things and making your back worse.Glad to hear you and Mrs Shiney are feeling better:thumbsup:

Woo,I see you have gone missing again from here and hope you are feeling ok in yourself:dbgrtmb:

Anyway,my computer clock says it is 03.42am and I am feeling tired so will have a quick browse round the net answer my mail and then try and get some kip after being woken up by more street people banging car doors as they go off on their hols now that the kids are off for Easter:hapfeet:

      See you all later :sleep::yawn:

      Good morning Kandy and everyone,

The sun is just starting to shine on the garden and the forecast is good today.

Kandy, I don't think GC logs you out but I think it takes your name off the active list when you haven't visited the site for a set period. I didn't log out or switch off the computer last night so when I woke it up this morning (it's set to go to sleep after no activity for 20 minutes ) I was still logged in. It wakes up as soon as I touch a key - but not if I move the mouse . The only problem with remaining logged in to my regular sites is that if I do clear all the cookies I will then have to try and remember all my passwords :rolleyespink:

I think I shall do just half an hour of pressure hosing, then have a rest and then do a little more edging. :thumb:

Mrs shiney is on a course in London all weekend so I shall have to look after all the hundreds of young plants in the greenhouse, on the patio, in the car port and around the garden. I reckon there must be well over a thousand of them :rolleyespink:

woo, I hope you are well :dbgrtmb:

      Have a great day :D

      Morning Shiney,

Just had to correct all the spelling mistakes that I made in the early hours,so can read the post properly now:D

It looks a nice day here as well Shiney so after getting back from town we will probably go over to the allotment later and get some weeding done as they are coming on strongly now :rolleyespink:

We have some toms and peppers coming on Shiney and I am worried that they are going to get scorched by the sun as we have them in the sun room this year to help them grow better and i have to keep covering them to stop the sun attacking them :sunny:

Good luck with looking after Mrs Shineys plants, rather you than me with that amount :D:love30:

Enjoy your day and go easy on that slab washing :D
