Well, I've been to my 'old' work place and collected my things. Boss can't see how the way and manner in which he spoke to me on Saturday, upset me so much, and gave me no alternative but to walk away.
I was told to 'consider resigning, which came like a bolt out of the blue, it was said in such a way to me that I felt intimidated, and like I had to go there and then. I am now left feeling utterly devastated. So, one chapter finishes, and another one begins. I'm going to miss working with the other girls there, and will miss the interaction with the customers. Ohh well, cest la vie.

So, if anyone wants a general do'er, and doesn't mind me talking ten to the dozen, let me know! lol...

Hope everyone is feeling better including me with the aches and pains:D

Went to see the Dr yesterday about my ankle and he is going to send me for xrays as he thinks it is normal wear and tear due to old age but as i have extra bone growth he wants to make sure everything is fine with the ankle in general :yess:

Joolz,sorry to hear about your job and will send good wishes that in the end everything turns out ok for you.As others have said it will be his loss in the end and you will have peace of mind that you did the right thing although at the moment it won't seem like it

Jazmine,no you don't want an allotment they are too much like hard work especially as you get older :D

Shiney,hope the Chiropractor work went well and you are managing to get through that mountain of paper work :D

Anyway,I have a mountain of irioning to do so best go and make a start before it gets too high.I hate leaving it but have loads more to wash at the moment :yess:

Its cold here, again..........but it is supposed to warm up as the week goes on......however its going to rain all weekend, and its a long weekend for us here, being Easter........figures eh!

what a glorious day it's been, really hope you've all enjoyed the sunshine.
I've had a busy bee of a day. I've given the slabbed area for my greenhouse a dusting of sand and cement to cover all the joins. Sown some Kelvedon Wonder pea seeds, to bring on before I put them out into the raised bed area. Painted two little wooden planters up, and put one of my miniature roses in one, and added some more grass cuttings to the compost bin.

I think it's safe to say, I'm in need of a glass of wine, and something to eat!!

Woo,the sunny weather is really nice at the moment,just what i need for my bones.Hope you are not working too hard on that veggie bed.Hard ground is best broken up in the winter months,and this time of the year hiring a rotavator might help as it putting plenty of ash and compost into the soil

Joolz,sounds like you have been busy with the slabbing,but please take care of your back

Well it was a really warm day yesterday and looks like it is going to stay warm over the Easter holiday so that suits me quiet well.:DProblem is though my water butt is rapidly getting emptied because i am having to water the garden pots more as i don't want my lilies to die as they are all in bud and about to flower :yess:

Spent ages over the allotment yesterday watering all the veggie seedlings then got down on my kneeling pad and weeded four rows of carrots and a row of beetroot seedlings but had to leave the parsnips as i can't tell some of them apart from weed seedlings.:D

Mr Kandy went for the village walk on his own last night as i was aching too much so sat and watched some telly instead :yess:

The sun is already up so might get back over to the allotment before it gets too warm as I still have loads of weeding to do.At least the sun kills off all the weed seedlings when i have hoed them off:yess:

Hope you are feeling better and don't over do the mowing.I did ours at the weekend but left the back lawn a little bit too long so it needs doing again now.At least it all looks nice and green despite the lack of water:yess:

Its cold and dreary here, and kind of raining too......i was up at 1am with the dog and we had freezing rain then......and a place about 4 hours north of me is getting socked with snow at the moment........is it spring yet!!
