    Good morning Kandy and everyone,

Had a lovely day over at Wrest Park yesterday and the weatehr was good apart from about twenty spots of rain we had mid morning but apart from that it was very nice but our tooties were a bit sore by the time we had walked round the vast parkland:D

Already been and gto the veggies done for todays dinner and as the sun is shining nicely out there will no doubt get some gardening done at some point today:yess:

Have a good day everyone and enjoy your Sunday :)

Good morning Kandy, Kandy, and everyone,

It's another sunny day here too but just a bit cooler. Oscar is sleeping in the sun in his flower bed whilst waiting for his breakfast.

I got a phonecall yesterday that a friend is in hospital so shall try and go and visit him. He lives in Kent so we shall have to check whether visiting is possible as we don't want to travel all that way for nothing.

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Shiney, hope you managed to get down to Kent in the end to visit your friend in hospital and that you were some comfort to him if you did:thumbsup:

Louise, sorry to hear of your thumping headache and hope it has cleared up now.I find the ones that go on all day to be the worst ones to have, those and Migraines:cry3:Have you been drinking plenty of fluids while the weather has been so hot?I find that dehydration can trigger mine off if I let myself run dry :D

Moyra, how are things going, are you feeling any better in yourself?:)

I see the weekend just flew again and we had some rain showers but we manged to get loads done yesterday although Mr K is now suffering with the cold I had last week so I expect he will need nursing for the next month or so until he can build his strength up:loll:

    Have an enjoyable day everyone:sunny:

    Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all feeling better . I used to get very bad migraines and the migraine clinic I used to go to said that they would ease up over the age of 45. They were right:yess:. They gradually got less intense and occurred less often. I still get the occasional one but usually it will only be a bad headache.

We didn't get to Kent to see our friend as they didn't know whether they would be letting him out or not. He's now out :dbgrtmb: and recovering and they shall be coming up to us for Bank holiday.

Still no rain in Shineyland so I shall have to put the sprinkler on the runnerbeans. It's nice and sunny this morning and the strong winds have dropped a bit.

We now have lots of birds back at the feeders and the pheasants have returned after their summer holiday :heehee:. There were eight baby pheasants amongst our cabbages yesterday. We don't mind if they eat the outer leaves of the cabbages as the caterpillars have been munching them.

As it has been so windy I have had to put in stakes to support the gladioli.

Whilst i was down the bottom of the garden lifting the onions on Sunday Tiger came to help. Tiger is a beautiful striped cat that Oscar doesn't like. This is the first time he has come close and he came to me and miaowed and rolled on his back. So I was forced to play with him :heehee:. (Shhh, don't tell Oscar :mute:)

    Have a great day :D

    Morning everyone :)

Tiger sounds a sweetie Shiney :wub2:
I have a new feline neighbour - with her human servant of course - and she's the prettiest tortoiseshell, she's 16 and very very loving.
I've volunteered to 'see to her' when the servant goes away for 4 days next week, went in to say hello yesterday and we'll get on just fine :D
    The servant too :WINK1: :D

My 2 timid little ones will think she's the enemny and to be hated on sight, which is a laugh because they'll all actually be thinking that the other will eat them !!!!!!
    Cats are so complex :wub2:

Good morning everyone. Louise, hope your headache is much better today. I used to suffer bad migraines when I was younger like you and Kandy they used to take me out for days but thankfully they are a thing of the past and a very rare happening these days.

Shiney, glad your friend is out of hospital and hope he is recovering well.

Kandy, I hope Mr Kandy is feeling better today but will be wise and have another day at home with you to make sure.

I am feeling better but still battling with the tramadol. Although I have more or less decided that since I need painkillers that I might just as well stick with them as I cannot get off them without horrendous side effects. Cela' vie. The sun's out so hopefully it will be a nice day, a lot cooler. Time for Amber's walk, bless her she is doing well.

Shiney, I used to have a lovely Tiger once upon a time, do love ginger cats. Well any cats come to think of it.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good morning everyone,

Still none of the promised rain and Shineyland is getting quite dry. I had to put the sprinkler on the veggies as the runnerbeans and courgettes really need it. They've forecast it to be sunny and hot today so it will probably rain. The wind has dropped completely.

Mrs shiney is off on a coach trip to some gardens in Norfolk today so I hope it stays sunny and dry for her. :sunny:

I got bitten by mosquitos, through my clothes, yesterday and have a couple of painful bites on my naughty bits  :heehee:. Not happy! :cry3:

    Have a great day :D
