That sounds as though it could be painful!!! :loll: :loll:

I don't think mine is animal fleas (I know what those bites look like) and Oscar has spot on put on him each month. Maybe I should try that for myself :heehee:

moyra, thanks for the idea but I can't use those products. I'm allergic to the perfumes in any cosmetic products - and to the smell of perfumes. :rolleyespink:

I've just picked another 10lb of beans that I'll add to the 17lb I picked on Saturday and they will be sold at the bridge club. :dbgrtmb:

    Good morning to everyone.

We had the sun starting to shine earlier but it has now clouded over but at least it is dry that is the main thing.

Have a great day everyone in all you do:)

    Morning everyone :)

Lots of rain in the night so that 'Lawn Weed & Feed' that i applied yesterday was a waste of time :wallbang:

Also, got home, earlier in the day, from work to find that the guy i'd asked to lightly trim the front face of my Escallonia hedge and NOT the HEIGHT had reduced the height by about 2' :gaagh::gaagh::gaagh:

Is it me ? ? :what: :wallbang: :wallbang:

The *****y thing needs to be high to act as a windbreak to the dreadful south westerlies we get here ..... and, because there are 4 Clematis growing through it and 2 of them don't require pruning :mute: :wallbang: :mute:

    Ooooh, i'm still cross now.
    Can you tell ? :o :wallbang: :cry3:

    Good morning everyone,

Nice and sunny here after another sunny day yesterday.

Louise, that is very annoying . We have had problems like that in the past and we are now very specific with our instructions.

Workmen have been ripping up our road all night and will continue through tonight as well. They'll be reopening the road soon to let the commuters through to the station and close it again at 7 p.m.

Mrs shiney is off to the flower show today. She isn't entering as many categories as last year but hope she does well with what she is entering. Last year I seem to remember that she won 13 certificates plus the cup for winning the most number of categories (not allowed to win it this year) and an RHS Banksian medal. I think she is only entering about six categories this year as it is too much work preparing everything.

She had her picture in the paper last year with the magnificent marrow she grew but I don't think she will win it this year as we couldn't find an unblemished one.

Baby pheasants running around the garden again this morning. :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day

    Shiney, i couldn't have been more specific, i'd spelled it out a, b, c fashion, and that's what's so *****y annoying

Why is it that no-one ever lives up to your own expectations ? ? ?

    Morning Everyone,

Shiney, not sure but I had an idea that it was Hyper Allergenic but I would need to check. A lot of Avon's products are because of people's allergies.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good morning everyone,

Louise and Shiney sorry to hear about your problems with so called gardeners who ruined your shrubs.By the sounds of things there are people out there who are doing the job just for the money and haven;t really got a clue on how to do a job properly so the morasl is if you want something doing right,do it yourself although having said that by the time we get to Shineys age we will probably be unable to get up high on a ladder to do work on tall shrubs:WINK1:

I's another beautiful day out there this morning so looks like another fruit and vegetable harvesting day today:D

Hope you all have a great day :)

Don't call me shorty! :heehee: Sorry, it's an old joke from a Leslie Neilson film :mute:

Yes, it's another lovely day here as well  but the ground is cracking up from lack of rain.

Kandy, the days of going up ladders are long gone :cry3: but I've solved that problem by having everything cut shorter :D.

I'm having a little trouble with my knee today so it will be just some gentle walking and a bit of shopping today.

    Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone,

Moyra hope the mammogram went off ok.I know they are a pain to have and uncomfortable but at least it catches anything nasty before it has time to develope:thumbsup:

Shiney, sorry to hear your knee is giving you jip and hope you can still manage to get about ok:thumbsup:

Louise we are a day nearer the weekend and I expect you are looking forward to it like we are and the forecast is for hot weather as well on Sunday:yess:

I emptied my waterbutt yesterday for the forth time and gave it a good decoke with the hose pipe ready for the rain we are due to get at 11am this morning{Shiney you might get some as well today}At least it might start to fill up some of the cracks that are in my borders and wet the ground under the turf so I can put down my Autumn weed and feed which need damp soil for it to work:D

      Have a great day everyone:sunny:
