    Morning Everyone,

Such a lot of rain yesterday I think we all have webbed feet.

Penny, my heart goes out to you, it's like losing a child as Kandy says they are always with you in spirit.

    Have a good day all.

      Good morning everyone,

The sun is playing peek-a-boo with the clouds at the moment but I think we shall have a good day :sunny:

Yesterday, with our visitors, went well and we had a good time. This afternoon we have a wedding to go to and Mrs shiney has made all the table flower displays for them. They look lovely :dbgrtmb:. The only down side of the day is that I can't wear my usual track suit and T-shirt - and I suppose I shall have to shave :( :heehee:

      Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone,

Louise I love lamb but don't like all the fat that you find running through it so have to spend so much time cutting off all the fatty bits before we can eat it:D

Mr K bought himself one of those GF grill thingies but gave up using it as we still had to wipe off the residue left after cooking any meat and then there was the drip tray to clean up as well so he ended up shoving it back into the cupboard and we went back to dry frying meat like sausages, bacon, steak etc and cooking chops wrapped in foil in the oven:DPS,Have you seen the size of GF,not very slim is he?:heehee:

Cooler here this morning but at least is dry:D

Have a good day with family and friends everyone:)

      Good morning everyone,

      The wedding was good :dbgrtmb:

We shall be off shortly to the Chilli Festival so we hope the sun will continue to shine. I think I had better take a brolly just in case as, if it starts rainnig a lot, the walk from the festival back to the car is through the grounds of the place and in the fields at the back.

      Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone,

Well the weekend and BH Monday went by quiet fast but at lrast Mr K has an extra day off work today which is nice as it means more time together and then tomorrow will be taking him to the station so he can catch his train, only hope i can find my way back home as my sense of direction is pretty dire:heehee:

It was quiet cold yesterday and i felt frozen all day with hands like blocks of ice but now the wind has dropped might feel warmer today.Determined not to put the heating on yet though until at least January 1st:WINK1:

Hope you are feeling a bit better Penny after your loss of Kobe:thumbsup:

Shiney how did the chilly festival go?

Gcc,i will follow your advice next time when cooking the lamb to see if it worksand makes the lamb fat free:thumbsup:

      Morning everyone :D
I've been 'connection-less' for 24 hours - it makes me realise that my life revolves around the ease that 'these things' make !

Back to work later though and feeling refreshed and ready for it :D
Could someone arrange a B H every week please :D

      Good morning everyone,

      It's dull but dry out.

The Chilli Festival went very well but was crowded with thousands of people. It was sunny most of the time but every so often black clouds came over but they went past without depositing any of their rain. I had a brief chat with the Hairy Bikers who seemed very nice people :dbgrtmb:. Our friend pointed out a few other personalities whom I didn't know and have never heard of. The only name I can remember is Hugh Bonneville.

Yesterday evening I picked another 15lb of beans but they are definitely slowing down now and a few plants have given up completely. Fortunately the later plantings are still going strong.

Lots of things to do today.

      Have a great day :D

      Hi miraflores

It is held each year at Benington Lordship, north of Hertford and just east of Stevenage. Although it's only 25 minutes from me you can't get there without transport as it's in a small village.

Although they have some nice gardens they aren't worth a special journey unless you are in the area.

The Chilli Festival is worth a visit and we go each year.

      Here are the details
