    It is a lovely sunny day out there today although it feels like we are finally coming towards Autumn as there is a slight chill in the air and the trees are starting to get that lovely golden glow about them as they start to turn:D

    Good morning everyone,

    Its sunny here, but cold.....it went down to 5* here overnight, but no frost so far (thank god).

    I'm home today.....so i plan on doing some bedding and putter outside, Natalie's gone from today until Sunday, she's 4 hours up north at a corporate event, so its just Brad and i until then, we plan on driving down to see Kait on Saturday.

    Today I had to go back to the dentist. Yesterday I had a filling and he left it too high so haven't been able to close my mouth properly - nothing new there then :D

    Good morning everyone,

    After a chilly start yesterday it warmed up fairly quickly and was a lovely sunny day. This morning has started nice and sunny as well :sunny:

    The workmen did their work well (putting up a retracting awning outside our lounge) - under close inspection from Oscar. They weren't allowed to start work until he had inspected all the packaging and then all the components as they were unpacked. He spent quite a while checking out the box steel brackets which would support the awning and only approved after he had given them a CAT scan. :heehee:

    I'm off this morning to the dental hygienist for my regular check on my chompers. She gives them a scale and polish and tells me off if I'm not looking after them properly. She's going to have to be gentle with me today as I have a couple of annoying mouth ulcers :mad:

    I hope to do some mowing this afternoon if my back settles down a bit. It should only take about four hours :DOH:

    Penny, does your winter always start this early ?
    We don't usually see frosts until December, here.
    Last year was a freak winter and we had snow in November which sent everyone into a spin, literally :WINK1:
