    Good morning everyone,

    Glad you like the cat photo:DI get the impression that it is a tad nosey and was unsure what the unfood shaped thing was as i zoomed in on it :heehee:

    Shiney,I had forgotten that the goverment had said that Insurance contributions would have to go up to pay for the the pension rise and I see now that Portugal are needing our countries help because their economy is up the creek :loll:
    Joolz the weather is fab at the moment and I am glad that I have been able to get outside and get some vitamin D inside me but then our cats get in the way when i am trying to photograph the spring flowers :gaagh:

    Woo,hope you are well,haven't heard from you for some time :)

    Penny hope your weather starts to improve for you as like me you probably enjoy the sun :yay:

    It's going to be another hot day today so once again I shall get my shorts on while my legs still look half decent and go out and get some fresh air and sun rays on them :D

    This is Uggy who has adopted us as some of you know :)

      Hi Woo,glad you are ok but hope the moggies are not ruffling your feathers too much.:DI think word has got round what an easy touch we are and I made the mistake of putting out the bowls of left over food out in the Autumn and winter for Fred but the local cats cottened on and now come visiting.:oTrouble is there isn't any sign of Fred yet so don't know if he/she survived the winter what with the weather as it was:mad:

      Another beautiful day today :dbgrtmb:

      Kandy, I'll tell Monty you put a bowl of food out. I'm sure he'll pop up there :heehee:. He comes and checks Oscar's food bowls at least three times a day and as Oscar only eats just a small amount at a time Monty seems to scoff the rest. Monty's humans keep moaning that he is getting fat. I think they are wrong - Monty IS fat :loll:

      My pressure washer packed up yesterday. It was 19 months old so I took it back to change it. There was no problem with the shop but they don't make that model any more so could only give me a full refund. The trouble is, they only had a bigger, more powerful and quite heavy machine which was more expensive. I bought that, lugged it home, put it together (took quite a while) and when I tried it water leaked from the hose connector. I tightened that up a bit but it is recessed into the machine and a bit difficult to grip with the arthritis in my thumbs. As I don't have any tools that can fit, one of my friends is coming round to see what he can do. Otherwise it means taking it back to the shop :mad:

      I've also received a phone call from Barry. He has received a letter, addressed to Vi, saying that the DHSS shall be sending her a bill for £465 for the cost of carers as she hasn't filled in her forms. A similar letter arrived last year and I told them then that Vi had died :scratch:. A little heart to heart chat with them should sort it out :heehee:

      Its going to be a nice day here, and supposed to be even warmer on the weekend, however.....rain all weekend.....which we need to clean things up, and get those buds coming up!!

      Awww Kandy, that's another lovely photo! And Uggy is gorgeous!!! Is he a Burmese? He's lovely.:kittykiss: Can we have another today please??

      Hope you got the pressure washer sorted Shiney. I've got to give our patio a good clean up, ready for the summer, but the washer is at the back of the garage, and at the moment we can't get to it. :heehee:

      I woke up before the birds this morning, and it's a day off too!! :gaagh: Still, hopfully it'll mean I'm able to be out in the garden 'doing' more today!! Weather looks promising, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Sons home from school now too, for FOUR weeks!!! That's one long Easter break. He's not back now until May 3rd. Then he's back for ten day's and off then for Study leave.. don't envy him those exams!!

      Anyway.... Time for another cuppa, then I think I'll hit the day head on, and make a start.

      Nice to see we are having some nice spring weather at the moment but didn't like the cool wind that went with it yesterday:rolleyespink:

      Shiney sounds like some idiot at the local benefit office can't get their facts right and hope that you amnage to get things put right for Barry:thumb:We haven't used our pressure for ages as I can't stand the loud noise it makes when

      Had a good laugh last night after we got back from our evening walk.We walked past my car to go and shut the garage door that I had left open and saw that Uggy was pacing up and down inside the car:rolleyespink:She must have jumped into the back of the cra when i left the boot open after hoovering it out:loll: Mr Kandy said I wouldn't have been laughing if she had done a poo in there :cry3:

      Woo, I love your double sunrise :dbgrtmb:

      Pressure washer sorted:yess:. My friend tightened up the connector a bit but it was still gushing water so he removed the connector and found it had been cross threaded :mad:. He managed to refit it and it is now working properly :). In the box that the washer came in is a printed piece of paper saying that it had been tested and worked OK :gaagh:

      Got a load of mowing done yesterday and some more pressure washing. Only about another 30 hours of pressure washing to go OUCH

      I'm trying to keep everything very much up to date so that we don't have problems for the open day if the weather isn't too good for working out there. I'm a fine weather gardener only :heehee:

      Good morni9ng Woo Shiney and everyone,

      I've been up since five this morning but have been busy getting washing hung out,more in the machine and apart from one quick post on this forum first thing have been busy getting the veggies prepared for tonights and tomorrows meals:yess:

      As it is going to be another nice day today will be going over to the lottie shortly with Mr Kandy to get some more ground work prepared and some more stuff in.I do like this time of the year nearly as much as the summer months.Hope we get a warm one as I could do with some sun in my bones:yess:

      PS,as anyone seen the grinning smiley as it seems to have vanished and I haven't got time to click more to see if it is hiding in there :help:

      Kandy, I don't bother with finding the grinning smiley. You can do it easily yourself. Just put : and then immediately follow it with D and you get the smiley. It has to be a capital D. :D

      It won't appear as a smiley until you click 'Submit Reply' or 'Preview post'.

      You can do the ordinary smiley with : immediately followed by ) :)

      If you want the dancing cheering smiley you do : immediately followed by yahoo and immediately followed by : :yahoo:
