Yawn yawn - wakey wakey..!! Mk 4

Evening all, hope you have had a lovely day. It has been like a summers day here. I went girlie shopping with Dionne then took the bus to FILs for his birthday and several of the family turned up too.

Am going to chill this evening and actually get on here Wave

 

hahaha made me laugh there Shiney! I don't think Mrs Shiney would be very pleased if you went girlie shopping!!

Good morning everyone,

Well what a lovely day yesterday turned out to be and we ended up spending a good six hours over at the allotment yesterday and had to go and buy some grub at the local fish and chip shop as we hadn't expected to spend so much time over there but the rotavating that Mr Kandy was doing took longer than he thought.I spent most of the time in the shade turning the compost from one compost bag to another and spreading some of it on the land that hubby was working on :D

We got home just as the runners were lining up at Aintree so I picked horse No 1 which came in third and Mr Kandy's works horse Grand Slam Hero fell at the 13th fence

Anyway,will be popping back over to the lottie this morning to get some more spuds planted and to give everything a good water as we don't look like we shall have any rain until the end of the week:yess:

Jazmine glad you enjoyed your shopping,how is the weight loss going?

Shiney good luck with the students and the bridge tournament but sorry that you will be stuck indoors all day though Thanks for the smiley tuturial but I haven't got the time to do dots and dashes etc finger drum:pathead:

Morning, Woo, Shiney,Kandy and everyone. Another beautiful day here i cant tell you how euphoric it makes me feel :yess:

We got back from Wales Friday afternoon after having alovely 5 day break and some beautiful walks. I'll try and gey a few piccies up later

We spent all day yesterday in the graden doing a bit of weeding potting on etc.

It has been beautiful today and my face is glowing nicely after being outside!

Shiney I am girlie shopping tomorrow but only because my friend wanted to meet for coffee and I couldn't say no could I? Tuesday I am little man and dog sitting all day!

O2 I love Wales and have been a few times. I am looking forward to seeing your photos to see if you went anywhere we went

Kandy I'm afraid I slipped off the wagon....but I will go back as I still have a stone to go. It won't be helped by us going away for my birthday...Excuses I know

O2,Glad to hear that you had a good break over in Wales and that the weather was kind to you.I know what you mean about the weeds though ...

Jazmine,enjoy your shopping trip with your friend and hope you spend plenty.I need to get my locks chopped,so will go today before it gets too hot out there so will have a look round afterwards.I need some new shorts to go with the ones I bought last year so will see if i can get some diffrent colours as I have a couple of M&S gift cards to use up Hope you get back on the wagon soon regrading weight loss.Does WW chase you up if you fall by the wayside?

Anyway,we went back over to the lottie yesterday morning and got the last of the shop bought spuds planted so apart from some sprouters we have from last year they are all out of the way now.Came home and had a light lunch then went out for a nice walk down to our nearest village and saw that the first bluebells are out in flower which to us seems a bit early.Came home and had the proper roast dinner later on in the evening that we were going to have at dinner time and It went down quiet nicely after all that exercise

Morning everyone..

Wasn't the weather at the weekend, just glorious! Pity I had to spend most of Saturday at work, but I made up for it yesterday! :yess:
I'm just having my third cuppa of the morning, ( well, I have been up since 5am) and then I'm off out to tackle the remainder of the weeding in the one border. Then, it should be ready for me to start the late spring/ early summer planting.

Kandy, I'm looking forward to seeing the next piccies. No rush mind. lol

Shiney, how did the bridge game go?

Jasmine, have a fabulous day with your friend, I could do with a dose of retail therapy myself.. I am in dire need of some new jeans!

02, glad you had a great break. Last time I went to Wales, me and mine ended up scaling Snowdon, and not on a normal path either. Half the time, we were scrabbling over rocks.. I've never been so petrified in all my days! We intended on doing a two to three hour walk, which turned into a 7 hour hike! Eeeeeeeeeep! Boy was I glad to get down onto terrafirma that day!

Morning everyone, well I had a brilliant day at the RHS show in Cardiff yesterday, so much to see and buy! the sell off of all the displays at 4pm was something else lol. My first ever show but not my last, will post more on the events thread when I have uploaded my pix, hope you all have a great day.

Joolz,I have to wait until Mr Kandy downloads the card on to the lappie for me as I don't know how to do it on this new one he bought me the other year and he doesn't like it if I give him a card with only a couple of piccys on it.Also we have been busy at the lottie over the wekend plus been grocery shopping and out for brisk walks,{then we get back home cream crackered } You will like the next one of Uggy as she looks like a vampire,but when you see the photo you will see why You will have to put some cat and garden piccys up so we can see your Avatar cat and you nice garden :yess:

Shiney,sounds like you and Mrs Shiney are extremely busy with the power washing and the potting up of plants.Hope the weather is better this year for your open day Glad you enjoyed the bridge tournament but sorry you didn't win any of the big prizes

Penny sounds like you had a good day at the RHS show in Cardiff over the weekend and I bet the weather brought out a lot of people
