Kandy, I shall look forward to seeing Uggy The Vampire Cat! I'll post a thread on the pet section later tonight to show you my puddies, all five of them. I did have six, but we had to say a sad farewell to our eldest Cane, just before Christmas last year. He was 18 though, so it was a grand age for a cat. I'll take the camera back out with me when I finish my tea, though I fear you'll be a tad let down. I'm very, VERY new to gardening, so have a lot to learn, but you'll see what I'm up against with my garden. lol

Shiney, hard luck on the Bridge Tournament, but as long as you all enjoyed it, that's the main thing. And, WOW!! That's a lot of bags of compost!

Just been outside to hang out some washing and it is freezing out there.My hands were like blocks of ice and have had to have a mug of hot tea to warm them up,brrrrr :yess:

Thanks both of you for the comments regarding Uggy/Davina.I took some of the photos that way up as I saw her teeth as i walked past her and then took some the right way up from the front and they are correct in my photo gallery but when i upload them from photobucket they all come out wrong so even though i have turned them.i can't get them right so have given up

Sorry your back is giving you gip Shiney and hope with Mrs Shineys work on it you feel better soon and Woo hope you are feeling a bit better today I decided against shopping and hair cutting yesterday as it was so nice in the afternoon so went to the lottie instead because a friend of mine has given us a rhubarb root someone gave her hubby two weeks ago and they don't want it so i have it soaking at the lottie in a bucket of water but the leaves are shriveled and there isn't much root growth so don 't know if it will survive,but if it does they want some of the stalks so will give them some from our own plant that is shooting,but it isn't doing as well as yours Shiney

Our neighbours have cleared off to America for a two week holiday and never bothered telling us and then had the cheek to txt me to tell us and to ask me to write out a note for their milkman as they forgot to cancel the milk,so have written out a sarcastic note informing the milkman that we hadn't been told like he hadn't.I am not going to reply to the text as it will probably cost me an arm and a leg to send it and Mr Kandy said I will have had to pay for recieving the text as wellThese youngsters seem to think our generation are just here to be at their beck and call all the time.If they had to stand on their own two feet it would kill them {Rant over for today }but none of them in the street ever offer us any help

I had probs working out how to upload piccies last night, so it was a tad late when we finally worked out where I was going wrong. I'll add a thread to the pet section tonight, then you'll see my menagerie. :WINK1: Ohh and I took some pictures of the garden yesterday too, they're in my albums, but I'll start a thread in the Garden projects section tonight too. I warn you though, my garden really is in a sorry state. :o

I have been to my sons all day looking after the little man [as well as cleaning and washing etc] and looking after their lovely little dog Princess who loves to sit on my lap and cuddle I love her to bits.
Tomorrow I hope to be here to do some of my own stuff.

I've started a thread in Garden Projects, called Turning Over A New Leaf. It's to encourage me to keep at the gardening, and not give in, which I've done in the past. This time, I won't be defeated by weeds!! I will turn my garden into something I'm proud of if it kills me...
