    Good afternoon everyone,

Have been busy these last couple of days and this morning waved goodbye to our over the road neighbours who we have known for ten years since we all moved here so there were a few tears this morning as well as hugs and handshakes :(but at least the wife will be coming back into the village twice a day to take the kids to school so they might just as well have stayed here:DThe new youngsters are now moving in so soon we will be the only wrinklies in the street:heehee:

Moyra,Mr Kandy had a bad day Wednesday but seems a bit better now so the antibiotics must be helping.I have told him that while he is on holiday next week from work if he feels no better to go back to the Dr's and let them examine him to rule out what the problem might be:mute:

Shiney sorry to read that Monty is in the wars and hope he feels better soon.At least it will slow him down a bit hopefully:D

Woo,thanks for brightening my day,you did make me smile with that piccy this morning:thumbsup:

We have had quiet a bit or rain yesterday but at least this morning the sun has shone which is nice but all the garden is saturated now:rolleyespink:

    Have a good afternoon everyone:)

Hi Kandy, well I am glad the antibiotics appear to be working, hopefully, Mr K will feel much better soon but it would be good if he went for a proper check up. Fingers crossed he will go.

    Have a good evening all.

    Good morning everyone,

I'm just off to take Mrs Shiney to the station as she is giving a lecture up in the big city today. That gives me plenty of time to get all my women in :heehee:

I'll have to sort out the meeces in the loft first :rolleyespink:

Kandy, tell Mr K not to be silly and get himself checked out. After all, you have both been paying through the nose all your lives for the NHS so you might as well use what you've been paying for. :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Shiney, just been for a walk with Mr Kandy and was discussing with how he was feeling and he says he feels rough today but wants to see how he feels after his course of antibiotics have finished before he goes back to the Dr's.I think he is just delaying the inevitable but is so stubborn {and silly}he will only do things when he feels unwell enough to get things sorted, such is the man:eeew:

Hope Mrs Shineys course is going well and doesn't go on for too long:thumbsup:

Hi Moyra hope you and Amber are ticking along ok and your health problems are not causing you too much grief at the moment:dbgrtmb:

We had thick fog out there this morning but it has now gone although we have no sunshine just grey skies:DTomorrow should be more like this :sunny: I hope

    Have a good day everyone:)

Now now Shiney, you cannot propogate women!!:heehee:

Kandy, men you can't do anything with them but life would be a bore without one or two of them around. :D

I am doing ok Kandy, don't know what my kidneys are up to at the moment but will get the low down when I see the Renal specialist on the 30th November. Long time to wait to find out what the scan was all about. I have my diabetes eye checkup combined with my glaucoma one on the 7th December shall be pleased to get that out of the way.
Amber has her spaying op on the 7th November and a post op appt for the 10th and then stitches out on the 17th. Not sure how I am going to keep her quiet for that time without her walks. :rolleyespink: I am going to miss my walks too. They have done my legs a world of good. Still cannot go without at least one crutch and I know Amber would like me to get a bit more of a move on but its getting there!

Have a lovely weekend all and a 'frightfully' good Halloween!!:heehee::loll:

    Good morning everyone,

Very dark and very mild today :dbgrtmb:

We went to visit Monty yesterday and he's doing very well. Apparently he was bitten in the foot by a fox :rolleyespink:. It was very infected but is now healing well. Monty's not very keen on wearing the head collar but was extremely happy for us to keep making a fuss of him. I've never heard a cat purr so much :D. He let Mrs Shiney do some Reiki healing on his foot and when she took her hand away he grabbed it and put it back on his bad foot

Moyra, it's good to hear that you are doing OK at the moment and I hope your tests come up with improved results.

Off to bed now, see you all later :D

Good morning Woo, Shiney and everyone,

'Happy Halloween' to everyone who celebrates it.I have my sweeties ready for when the little ones fly round this evening:D

Thanks for the robin photo Woo,they are on of the birds I like the most, although the Kingfisher is my all time favourite bird.:) I will give Mr Kandy your good wishes when he evntualy gets up:D

      Shiney,glad to hear that Monty is doing so well.Our cats grab our hands when they want even more head rubbing but soon let us know when they have had enough{they dig their claws in us}

Moyra, hope the results are good with the kidney scan and also the glaucoma one:thumbsup:Bit silly I always think to make you wait so long to get the results though unless you live in an area that is well populated, that is all i can think it could be:scratch:Just take it easy when you go for yuor walks especially if you have to use a crutch as I know how stong dogs can be especially when they are young, but glad to hear that the exercise has helped your legs so that is good to hear:dbgrtmb:

Don't know if we shall get much rain this week especially as we are getting the tail end of the American snow so just hope Mr Kandy has a good week as he is on holiday all week which is nice for us both:D

Hope you all have a very good day:)

      Good morning, again, everyone.

Woo, thanks for the lovely photo and keep well :dbgrtmb:

Sorry folks, but I'm not one of those people that celebrate Halloween (I've given up being a Druid :heehee:) and don't approve of 'trick or treat' - or 'demanding gifts with menaces'. I'm definitely in favour of kids dressing up and having a party to celebrate the end of the summer but they should do it amongst themselves and not try to force others to join in their celebration. I'd be happy to give a prize, or two, for the fancydress that I like the best but don't like being told to give sweets on demand. They can have some chillies if they want :loll:

I've been out for a short walk around the my estate (actually, up to the top of the driveway to get the milk as the milkman leaves it in the milk bucket) and it is extremely mild out.

I think I'll have a go at cuttingback the neighbour's conifers that are begining to encroach on our greenhouse and then, if I feel up to it, I'll start on the autumn pressure hosing.

My chest is a lot better now and I usually on have coughing problems in the evenings :dbgrtmb:

      Have a great day :D

      Hi Everyone,

Woo, thanks for the lovely Robin they are such friendly birds to us humans I understand they are not so kind to other birds, don't know if that is true or not. I hope you are keeping well.

Thank you all for your good wishes for my scan results. It is a long time here for results. It has taken me over 8 weeks to be asked to phone for an appointment for my eyes and then it will be another 5 weeks before I am seen. When I initially didn't get an annual appointment for my eyes I chased it up and was told to wait until they wrote to me for me to phone them. Strange new procedure. I suppose we do live in a highly populated area around here. Any more immigrants and we shall all slide off into the mouth of the Thames.

I hope Mr Kandy is improving and Shiney why not let Mrs Shiney do some rheiki on your chest, its worth a go.

Kandy I do hope we don't get that snow from across the states but I expect we shall.

Glad to hear Monty is recovering. Hope he will be back to visiting you soon Oscar I expect you miss him.

      Have a good day all.
