        Morning everyone,

WOO, that rose is absolutely beautiful and the scent of it you can smell it from here!! How's our little Penny today back to normal?

Shiney, Have you ever thought of taking up Bridge, I am sure you would enjoy it if you tried and it would take up all that spare time that you have on your hands.:love30::loll:Are you all geared up for Oscars blood test? More to the point is Oscar!

Kandy, hope your exczema has completely cleared up now and your mouth is now better. When do you get your results?

        Have a good day all.:sunny:

          Good afternoon everyone:)

Sorry haven't been about for a couple of days but have been trying to catch up on some jobs round the house that has been put to one side and just had to get them done.:D

The decorating is still on going in the halls and Mr K has managed to get the first coat of white paint on the ceilings but reckons they will need at least another one possibly two coats before he can start painting the walls:rolleyespink:We've also been over to his dads house and got the water leak sorted so just need some hot weather to dry the stair carpet and ceiling on the stair well :yay:

          Woo glad to hear that Penny is better and many thanks for the rose.It is beautiful{does it have a scent?}

Moyra our Tina used to wee a lot just before she had her first season and we were told that they do it to make sure their scent is scattered over a wide area so that the dogs will smell that they are coming into heat.Perhaps that might be Ambers case :)

Shiney, that is not good service from your vets and hope that they get Oscar sorted out real soon istead of making him and you have to wait for them all the time.

Loli and everyone else hope you are all ok and that life is treating you well despite the fact the blighty is going down the pan...not:D

My gum is still sore and i hate the taste of the Cordysol or whatever it is called as it tastes bitter and i lose my sense of taste for sometime afterwards:gaagh:The Hospital said that they will send me the results through once the sample has been put under the microscope but they never said how long all this would take and at the time with a numb mouth didn't feel like trying to ask the nurse:DMr K has to go and see the Dr next Friday for the results of his blood test and then has to have the internal examination done to see what is going on:heehee:

It is dry here today and feels cold and we heard on the telly the other day that our resorvouir is 56% empty and the water board is talking about pumping water out of the rivers to top it up and we are all to be careful on what water we consume so we are still in drought difficulties:(

Hope you all have a good day :)

I've just got back from the charity bridge drive where I won first prize of two bottles of wine :dancy:.

Mrs Shiney has gone off to the Royal Albert Hall with the W.I. and left me a note that the vet turned up and Oscar was OK. We just need to wait for the results. The vet locked himself out of his car :heehee: and had to get the nurse to run him home. He had to leave his car in the driveway and will come back for it when he has found his spare key :loll:

Now I've just got to cook myself some dinner before going off to bridge. :dbgrtmb:

Sorry you are still suffering with your mouth Kandy. Not nice.:(

Shiney, Congratulations on this mornings Bridge. Well done.:dancy: Also glad Oscar has had his blood test. Hmm. I will bite my tongue about your vet and his car!!:o:wallbang:

Kandy, you could well be right about Amber preparing to come into her first season as I notice her little nipples have plumped out a little too so that is probably what she is doing is scenting everywhere. Well not long now for her op on Monday shall be glad to get it over and done with and no doubt she would feel the same if she knew!!:rolleyespink:

          Have a pleasant evening everyone.:)

            Good morning everyone,

Not sure what the weather is doing today but I guess it will be warm and dry again.

I'm a bit worried about Oscar. When I got back from bridge at 11.30 last night (vets' car gone) I decided to see how he was. He's sometimes out on the patio about that time and will come into the kitchen for a short while but he wasn't there. So I turned on the patio lights and started to do the washing up (didn't have time before going out) whilst looking out.

I then saw him coming out of the greenhouse walking very slowly and very carefully - almost like an old man. He came into the kitchen but very slowly - which may have been because he was nervous about the kitchen because that is where the vet took his blood. I just had a feeling that something wasn't right so instead of having a cuppa in the lounge I sat in the kitchen with him until Mrs Shiney got home at 12.30.

She spent about an hour sittting on the floor with him and cuddling him and he was purring loudly. He didn't ask to go out again and so, for the first time, we have allowed him to stay in the kitchen. He's still stretched out on the floor there and didn't respond much to me stroking him but is sleeping again.

What has me worried was the way he was walking - the lying down and sleeping is what cat's do for 26 hours a day anyway. I hope it was only nervousness and not something more serious. The vet will phone with the results of the blood test today.

If he's going to spend more time in the kitchen I shall have to go out and get a tray and some cat litter (haven't looked to see whether he has done anything in the kitchen or utility room).

            Have a great day :D

Shiney just read your post re Oscar. You're right it could be that he was a bit anxious about the kitchen initially until he saw the vet had gone. Maybe he suddenly feels his age, bless him. Hopefully, he will be back to usual shortly. If he has diabetes it may mean he now wants the warmth and comfort of the kitchen as the nights get colder. I know if I was him which I would prefer.:WINK1:

lollimac, hope you can get to see Amber's photo ok from there. I did originally put a link when I had down loaded an album but I think that was to my Saga friends on their site. As I get older I find my memory plays tricks on me.:rolleyespink:

Mr & Mrs K. hope you are both ok this morning. Take care all and have a good weekend.:sunny:

Oh just remembered with all the Oscar business, how did you get on at the bridge Shibney?
