    Good morning everyone,

It's a little bit nippy out there but the sun is trying to climb over the edge of the world :sunny:

Loli, that's good news about Theo :dancy:

Moyra, I'm also fairly sure that it must be scar tissue  and she must be raring to get going again.

Woo, you'll soon be able to start singing the Lumberjack song :heehee:

Kandy, I'll try and send some of our sunshine up to you to brighten up your days :dbgrtmb:

Penny, hope it's not too snowy.

Keep well and have a great day :D

Hi Everyone, yes you are all right about Amber it is scar tissue and one particular lump is where the knot from finishing off the stitches is. They were very pleased with her and said she is perfect in every way so don't go spoiling her waistline I was told! I think they looked at mine and decided I wasn't a good example even though I have lost over three stone.

Loli, so pleased Theo is coming along ok. It is hard work trying to keep them calm and resting though, it is certainly not in Ambers vocabulary!
She is full of high jinx. I took her on the longer walk this morning so hopefully it wont be long before Steve can start to take her back over the fields again. Nice frost on the ground this morning when I walked her.

Well, I hope you all have a lovely day. The sun is shining beautifully out there now!:sunny:

Good morning Woo. loli and everyone,

Lovely bluebells, woo :dbgrtmb:. Have the Dickens of a time today :dancy: and the rain should have cleared for you :sunny:

I'll be off soon to take Mrs Shiney to the station for her to go to college in the Big City. It's exams all weekend. I'm extremely confident that she will pass with flying colours :dbgrtmb: - not the Woo sort of flying :heehee:. She's worked fantastically hard for this last year, sometimes 14 hours a day seven days a week at the computer, and the assessments have gone well. She's also had to produce case studies and write scores of papers. :rolleyespink:

Keep well and have a great day :D

Good morning Woo and everyone and hope you are all ok:)

Still busy at the moment but then who isn't at this time of the year but at least most of it is done and the majority of the cards and prezzies are written and wrapped just need to to get the stamps on the envelopes and then off they go to their destinations.:yess:

Woo,love the mole ride, never seen on of those before let alone have a ride in one:DHave a nice day with Mrs Woo:yess:

Moyra, hope the kidney stone doesn't cause too many problems and that it stays quiet small but at least amber is getting better so she will take your mind off of of it:thumbsup:

Loli, hope that Theo is coming along nicely and that you are managing to relax inbetween getting it all done.:DQuiet a few of the houses round us have their trees and outside lights up but Mr Kandy {the boss man}won't let me start on ours until at least next weekend:(

Shiney, glad to hear that Mrs Shiney is all but finished now with her course. So you could have gone away after all for crimbo?Nver mind you will be able to go and see your sisiter and her family this year which will be nice for all of you:dancy:

Anyway we have had some rain and me water butt is now full again and we popped over to our local resorvoir as it is 50% empty and had a walk along the shore line that is usually under water and it was still a bit damp and gooey but wanted to get some piccys of the low level of water before it fills up again:heehee:

I might have to pop to the dentist tomorrow as silly me has chipped the crown on my front tooth when eating my porridge yesterday{crunched it on the spoon:cry3:}so going to have to see if I can get it fixed at some point. As I have had the crown for forty years I don't really want to lose it as it will soon be an antique I should imagine:yess::D

Enjoy your day everyone in all that you do:)

                Good morning everyone,

Mrs Shiney thanks you for your good wishes :dbgrtmb:. Yesterday was not a final exam but a written test whose results are added to the course work, case studies (which are reports of the progress of some her patients - she has to make sure any reference to the patient's name etc are removed from the study), written papers and continuous assessment.

The test is a separate module that would give a separate certificate for NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). The results of the test were already on the net this morning and she got 95% :dancy: - but she's kicking herself for not getting the other 5% :heehee:

Kandy, unfortunately, this is not the end of the course. There are still more papers to write and more classes to attend. Graduation is in January. We already have a few things sorted for the holiday period with my sisters birthday (one of the big 0's) towards the end of the month, some friends coming for a quiet New Year's Eve and Mrs S's sister coming for the 2nd Jan.

We've been invited to a number of open houses where friends are inviting people to pop in any time between noon and 10 p.m. for drinks and buffet. We may do something similar but just invite small groups of friends for drinks and food from 4 - 8 p.m. The problem would be working out which people to invite to which group .

I took Mrs Shiney to the station this morning and there was no one else on the train - apart from the driver :heehee:. She'll get to college early and they do a good, very cheap, breakfast in the college canteen.

We shall be going to the local Chinese tonight (one of the best we've ever found) to celebrate her 95% :dbgrtmb:

I cleared a load more leaves yesterday and, looking out the window this morning, the ground is covered with them again

Keep well and have a great day :D
