    Shiney....£850 for your charity! That's excellent, well done to all involved. :dbgrtmb:
    Got the day off work today, had some holiday to use up so I booked today off as the forecast for Friday has been fairly awful all week.
    I've got the house to myself so I'm doing some present wrapping; this will involve a certain amount on chuntering on my part and about a mile of sellotape, I really am rubbish at wrapping!
    The sleet outside is gradually turning to wet snow, at this rate I might actually start to get into the spirit of the season! :o

    Hi everyone, yes it was sleeting when I took Amber out this morning, now its snowing on and off nothing settling though. I wonder what Amber will think of real snow if it settles.

    Morning everyone,

    Its cool and windy here, but still no snow.

    I'm home today, so i need to wrap some more gifts, mail a couple last minute christmas cards, go and pick up my new Iphone, and have an errand for Brad too.

    Trust me Kandy......after meeting Dave(Redmon), and he's on the Andes run.....you'll LOVE Hugh!!!

    I've just replaced my deer defences at the bottom of the garden as we had an intruder yesterday, or the day before. He's only pruned the blackberries for me so no real damage - but he could, at least, have done a neat job of it. There are broken bits everywhere.

    I did a bit of tidying up out there in the afternoon sun.

    Good morning everyone,

    Oh, what a beautiful morning :dbgrtmb:. The sun is shining brightly from a clear and blue sky :sunny:. We have not the slightest hint of a breeze but the temperature is 0C.

    When it has warmed up a little bit I shall do a little pottering about. Mrs Shiney is off to a craft market this morning then hospital visiting this afternoon so I can get all my women in today :loll:.

    This evening we're going to the local amateur theatre for a performance of Alice In Wonderland.

      Good Morning Everyone, We seem to be a bit thin on the ground this morning Shiney. I hope you enjoy your Amdram tonight. Long time since I have been to one. They are usually very good and despite being Amateurs I think they are all very professional.

      That was a cold one walking Amber this morning I think she needs some little boots to keep her toes warm! She insisted on walking on the frozen grass instead of the pathway. Silly girl.:)

      I'm trying to decide whether to wrap up warm, put on my thermals :heehee:, and walk to the village shop to get Mrs Shiney's Saturday paper - the only paper we have and she just wants it for the TV. Of course, I could always jump into the car and whip up there. Decisions, decisions. :scratch:

            Good morning everyone,

            Sorry haven't been around but have been unwell with theis cold bug,I can't stop shivering and have a thumping headache as well as aching bones and muscles plus have that horrible gungy stuff on my chest so don't know what is going on.:gaagh:Mr Kandy is talking to his dad on the phone as i type this and his dad has the same bug and it sounds like there are quiet a few people going down with it:(
            We had a heavy frost in the night and it is now snowing quiet well and settling,just a shame I haven't got the energy to go outside and enjoy it:gaagh:

            Hope everyone is ok and I will try and catch up with you all when i feel a bit more like it:)

            Good morning everyone on this wonderful sunny day.

            I did the walk to the village at a brisk pace and was offered a lift by three different vehicles on the way. Nice people round here :dbgrtmb:. Everyone I passed (one mile each way) said hello and some gave the seasons' greetings. I bought some nice fresh crispy rolls in the village shop and had them for lunch. Then I did a little bit of tidying in the garden and trimmed some lawn edges.

            By 3.30 it was getting dark and I took this photo before coming in for a cuppa.
