    Good morning everyone,

Jazmine, we're very rarely indoors in the evenings. We both have our clubs that we go to and when we're not at them we seem to be with friends.

Today we have some friends coming for dinner. We'll get a little bit of gardening done first - I've just done some pruning (cut Mrs Shiney's hair :D).

I'll start preparing the food after we've had lunch.

Cream of brocolli soup done with coconut milk.

Roast rib of beef for the carnivores and veggie Kievs for the veggies. Two different lots of roast pots - carnivores have them done with the meat and the veggies will have them done in olive oil. Yorkshire puds; brussels; stir fried baby corn, mangetout, asparagus, string beans and mushrooms done with ginger, garlic and light soy sauce; steamed courgettes tossed in a tomato and herb smooth coating; white cabbage lightly stir fried with black mustard seeds and steamed in their own juice.

Home grown apple and plum crumble; homegrown blackberry moousse; chocolate pots made with dark chocolate and Glayva; fresh fruit sald of mango, melon, strawbs with a hint of Gran Marnier.

Bookings taken, cash in advance :loll:

Have a great day and a very Happy New Year :dbgrtmb:

Good morning again lolimac and everyone,

Another sunny day today but they forecast lots of rain.

We watched the London fireworks on TV last night. They were quite spectacular but I worried for the poor animals around there.

I hope this is the start of a wondeful year for all of you :dbgrtmb:

      Have great year :D

Good morning everyone and a Happy New Year to you all with plenty of good Health and Happiness:)

We never stayed up last night haven't done so for many years although we were woken up by fireworks going off at midnight

Went for a lovely walk yesterday afternoon along the disused railway near us and saw lots of walkers out and about plus lots of birds which was very nice:yay:

Have just got back from kitty feedin g plus our usual morning walk and found a badger at the side of the road that had been run over:( so Mr Kandy moved it onto the grass verge with his boot so it doesn't get squashed any more.

Shiney we heard on the news that Australia let off £4,000,000 worth of fireworks and I dread to think how much other countries and cities fireworks cost and we are supposed to be strapped for cash:scratch::what:

Hope you all have a great day:)

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope it will be a healthy one :dbgrtmb:

Thanks Moyra but I was thinking of changing my avatar to a "spring" feeling one as I don't enjoy winter at all. I cannot wait to get out in the garden [I did sweep the leaves up yesterday]

Peace has settled here after having little man to stay - my brain is too old now :D

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year to you all, may 2012 be kind to you all.

Jazmine, why not see January out and then change it to a spring one? I am sure whatever you choose will be nice anyway. I just happen to think this one is lovely - when you are tucked up warm indoors. Ha ha.:loll:

Have a good day everyone.:) Still smiling WOO!:)

It's very mild and dry here and we've been gardening and I've had a bonfire. :dbgrtmb:

Mrs Shiney has patients this afternoon and I'll do some preparation for tomorrow's guests.
