    Good morning everyone,

It's very still out there and -1C. It's got the sort of look that occurs before snow - but I don't think it will happen.

Kandy, Mrs Shiney says thank you for your good wishes and wishes you both a lot better - as do I :dbgrtmb:. Take it easy when walking in these icy conditions.

Woo, it's good to see you about again and Mrs Shiney sends her best wishes to you and the girls :dbgrtmb:

All of you take care in these cold conditions and be careful out there

    Have a great day :D

    Hello Everyone,

    Nice to see WOO around:).

I do hope you are all managing to keep warm. I am afraid Amber had to make do with a run around the garden in the snow as the pavements are just too ice trodden for me to risk walking on them.

I had a rotten morning yesterday morning at the Orsett hospital. After having that laser operation on my eyes to prevent the pressure going up what was I greeted with yesterday was "Your pressure is up and we shall have to review your situation" "We want to see you in a months time." " Cancel the appointment for the 29th with Basildon hospital and we shall carry out the retinal screening ourselves when we see you next." So there I am not knowing whether the holes they lasered have healed up to cause the pressure to go up and whether I am going to have to undergo the ops again or whats happening. So onward and upward, keep fighting onwards.

I have my stitches out of my back tomorrow shall be glad to get rid of them itching me and driving me mad. Lol. Oh Lord, a nice clean sheet of no appointments would be nice but I expect you all feel the same, oh what it is to get old.:help:

Shiney I think you have gained yourself a new pussy cat friend in the Bengal white. Wonder what Monty thinks of it getting in on his mate Oscar's patch.

Kandy, hope Mr K and you will soon be on the mend. and anyone else under the weather too!:grouphug:

    Have a good day everyone.:)

        Good Morning everyone,

I'm up earlier than usual this morning as i'm having trouble laying on my shoulders.I seem to be getting 'niggles' in all my joints lately.I'm fine once i get going:thumbsup: and not only that but Archi and Theo were sat starring out of the back door looking at the snow....so they've just had a mad half hour:rolleyespink:They are now dried off and sleeping like babies again now they've had their 'snow fix'.A good four inches of snow has fallen overnight and everywhere looks beautifull:dbgrtmb:

I'l get ready for work now so keep warm folks and take care....:sunny:

        Good morning everyone,

Moyra, sorry to hear you're still having trouble with the eye and hope it gets sorted soon . I don't think Monty has ventured out in this weather but Sarafi is quite young and has been around through all the snow. He's friendly enough but I get the strong impression that he's not a 'cuddle' cat. He'll come up to you, accept a couple of strokes and then walks away.

Loli, at my age I don't mind saying I wear longjohns when I go out in the cold :heehee:. They're not the old fashioned thick grey ones but modern, very thin, dark blue ones (a bit thicker than wooly tights) that match my track suit bottoms - and keep me very warm. :dbgrtmb:

I think I'll stay indoors during the day. Plenty of paperwork to do and I'll start preparing another quiz. Think I'll also cook a nice curry ready for the weekend as I bought some lovely shin of beef yesterday. I'm just thinking which spices I'll make it with.

Have a great day and be careful out there :D

Good morning Loli Shieny and everyone

I only had the computer to myself for a couple of minutes yesterday as Mr Kandy spent most of his day yesterday trying to sort out my problems. He has had to redo the bit where you log on so can now use my account and has found all my photos but I have lost over 600 emails that i was keeping and a lot of them had photos in them that family and friends had sent me so they are lost forever:mad:

Shiney when we did that good walk on Sunday we forgot to take our walking poles which made the going harder but at least we did it and had a good workout.:DOn Wedesday I had my pedometer on all day and from 6am-6pm had done over 16,000 steps. No wonder my poor feet ache by the end of the day:DEnjoy your curry at the weekend:)

Moyra, sorry to hear about your eye problems and hope you get some treatment in the future which will help you.My brother in law has had to have months of laser treatment because by the time his Diabtes was found it hasd caused damage to the veins in his eyes so has had to have lots of laser treatment done. This is one thing i am dreading with the diease.Hope you feel better soon and please Take Care:thumbsup:

Loli, yes know the feeling with painful shoulders.I don't get any sleep at night with mine and resorted to sleeping on the settee for a few nights last week but it was no better.I am saving up to go and have some Physio done Privately and would rather pay than go to the hospital to have it done as they make you wait eight weeks at ours. The only other thing which I think will help mine is Cortisone injections but i don't fancy going down that route just yet:(

Hi Woo hope you are keeping warm with all this cold and snow:thumbsup:

Well we had another inch of snow late yesterday afternoon and through the evening so everywhere looks nice and white and pristine again:yess:Have already charged up my camera battery so i can go and get some more piccys before it all melts away:D

Have a good day everyone and be careful out there:)

        Hi Everyone,

Loli, I think this weather finds out all the weak spots in your joints do wrap up warm. Glad the boys had their fix of snow. Don't they just love it. I know Amber does. :love30:

Shiney, you are not the only one that sports your long johns. I bought my Steve some several years ago in white and pale blue and he has quite a few pairs now. I said to him I wonder if they do them for women and sure enough I managed to stock myself up with some white and black ones only they call them long janes, who cares if they keep you warm> I have the vests to match.

Kandy, this eye business is a bit of a problem really. It is because of the diabetes that aggravated my Gloucoma as that was holding its own up until now without drops which I previously had to have. The whole idea of lasering holes into my iris was to relieve pressure so to be told that the pressure had increased was not good. I do hope that your eyes will be ok it is generally the retina that the diabetes affects and which they usually scan. So unless you have Glaucoma you probably wont have the same problems as mine.

Well I know have to decide whether to let Amber out to romp around the garden in the snow or to try to venture to walk her, think that might be madness. I am beginning to miss my walks but with my silly legs I could be base over apex before I know it.:nono:

Have a good day everyone. :)

        Morning everyone,

Its supposed to be a cold weekend here, still no snow, but its coming.

I have a few errands to do today, and a delivery for Brad as well.

Today is also our anniversary, so we may go out for supper, we'll see, might hold off until next week, since its Valentines anyway.
