    Aloha Everyone,

    Lovely day out there and I think the wind has dropped thank you for your concern re my wind. lol. Trying to get Amber more used to the car so will take her for a drive up the park and a walk round and then back again otherwise she gets the impression the car is just for taking her to the vets. It also gives her a change of scenery and smells, oh don't forget the smells so important for our doggie friends.

    Have a good day everyone and do take care of yourselves. WOO no overdoing it now!

    Morning everyone,

    Its a gorgeous sunny day here, supposed to be another hot one....going out shortly to cut the lawn, and get that done.

    We left around 1pm yesturday to get Kait and didnt get back until 7:45 lastnight, traffic was brutal!!!

    All the girls (6 of them) are all out for breakfast, and then going for manicures and pedicures at 10:30, so i am going to go down to the store when they open at 10, and pay for them all as a treat.

    I go at 11:30 for my pedicure, and my manicures at 9 tomorrow, thought i would split up my appointment because i have so much to do this afternoon.

    Anyhow.....I'm off to start the lawnmower....I'll try and pop in later.

    It was a good day yesterday but we have winds and rain forecast today so I'll have to wait until later to find out what delightful shopping excursion Mrs Shiney may decide on :sad:

    We saw Great Expectations at the theatre yesterday, after a very good Italian meal, and it was very well acted and produced.

    We're meeting up with friends this evening and going out for a meal.

      Nice to take in a theatre trip if the production is good Shiney, glad you enjoyed it.

      WOO that's a lovely sky you have pictured there. Not sure what the weather is doing today as when I took Amber out it was trying to sunshine while at the same time spitting with rain. Which will win who knows.

      Penny hope all is in hand and ready for tomorrow. Good luck, hope the weather is nice for the wedding.

            Greetings everyone from a very sunny and not windy{yet}IoW:snork:

            Loli,glad you enjoyed your trip up to Derbyshire and yes it is indeed a beautiful place{after Wight,Scotland and the Lakes that is:snork:}We try to go up there as much as possible for walks as it is only a couple of hours from where we live and usually the weather is good:SUNsmile:

            Shiney,hope you enjoy your day with friends and that your walk is also a :SUNsmile: one :smile:

            We have had a good first week although I have given up with the hairspray useage due to the strong winds we have been having this week but at least it has kept it nice and cool for us.We had a nice six mile walk yesterday and took lots more piccys,and we are worn out by the time we get back to base camp and have eaten our evening meal,so much so i have been nodding off before bed time:snooze:

            Penny,hope the wedding goes off ok and that you all have fantastic time and that the weather stays fine for you all:blue thumb:

              We had a lovely day yesterday visiting friends and wandering around the countryside in the warm sun. We had a tasty picnic lunch in a very quiet valley down by a river and only met two other people in four hours of strolling along country paths.

              Kandy, it sounds as though you're having a wonderful time on Wight :dbgrtmb:

              Moyra, I hope you're feeling better now :)

              Just been out to the GH and picked some Tomatoes,chillis ,Peppers and cues ...bagged them up to take to work for anyone that would like them...oh and boxed up some eggs as 'the girls' have been busy whilst we were away:thumbsup:
