    Aloha all!

Loli, I too have trouble with lifts but I take deep breaths and pray that it keeps going until I can get out again. With my knees and leg problems I have no choice but to take the lift usually in the hospital where I go for my eye tests but it is a big lift big enough to take a hospital bed so not so claustrophobic. Panic attacks do take the stuffing out of you and can make you feel weak for days afterwards. I always find it makes you so aware of how mortal you are.

Waves to our lovely thread users. Hope you are all looking after yourselves and keeping well. Have a good weekend everyone.

    Aloha!:wub2:

No Loli, its far from warm here although it was quite nice yesterday afternoon about the time of your posting. It was trying to rain when I took Amber out for her walk this morning. Hope we do get some rain the garden is so dry all the shrubs are wilting.

Waves to all our lovely thread friends and hope you are all keeping well and safe. Take care everyone and have a good Sunday!

    Aloha!:wub2:

You could do a lot worse than look for a little Ford Fiesta. I bought mine off my cousin three years ago she is getting on in years but she is so reliable and apparently Ford Fiesta was the biggest seller of new small cars this year.

      Aloha everyone,
Loli and Moyra, I hope your panic attacks stay under control in the future :wub2:

After a good day out yesterday I'm feeling a bit under the weather with a touch of bad throat and attendant aches. But I'm not going to let it stop me doing things. So I shall be off shopping soon.

      Kaz, good van hunting :dbgrtmb:

I've put the sprinkler on again as the ground is still bone dry!!!

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

Hello everyone, it's cold and grey here Woo but no rain yet...
Loli, panic attacks can be very debilitating- I hate lifts too but because of my heart bother and now leg damage I have no choice either. The smaller the lift the worse I feel, I think I would die if it got stuck between floors :cry3:

Yes, but when you get into a panic situation luck is the last thing on your mind. You just want to break free as quickly and as easily as possible. Just to be able to draw breath without feeling as though a ton weight is pressing down on your chest and you are going to suffocate.

i feel for you both .... for the first few years after i prosecuted my father i suffered with panic attacks every time i left my business, home or car it was horrific, the pressure on your chest the instant explosion of sweating ( i have never smelt so putrefied in my life ), the swirling tunnel you feel like you are falling down ...cor even thinking about it is making my palms sweat and my heart rate has picked up .....
i hope it was a one off for you Lorraine :wub2:

My panic attacks occur when I feel I am losing control of my everyday life. That decisions that should be mine to make are taken away from me and I have to rely on somebody else for some reason. The last time I experienced a panic attack was going to shiney's last spring. I had to drive on my own to his on roads I was unfamiliar with and hadn't driven for years but worse I was more than ten minutes or so away from home where I felt safe. It took tremendous effort to talk myself out of a panic attack and calm my nerves and of course once I met Shiney and Hannah I started to relax but I was still having problems with being so far from home and trying to let it go and enjoy myself. I am hoping next year it will be easier.
