    Good morning everyone,

Just a quick hello before i get started on the day and to let you know we had a fantastic break, with lots of walking {60.5 miles:smile:} ,sightseeing, photography, chatting to islanders etc,so now we are back we have to contend with winding down from the travelling and putting up with torrential rain and this morning thick fog and damp conditions:eeew:

Hope you are all keeping well and are not experiencing too much bad weather as it seems to be bad out there at the moment.:frown:

Will catch up later no doubt

      Aloha everyone,

Welcome back, Kandy :dbgrtmb:. It's quite interesting talking to the natives on these funny little islands, isn't it! :heehee:

Moyra, I thought you had done brilliantly to get to Shineyland  and I was pleased that I was out by the road just as you came along. Next year will definitely be easier as you can now treat it like another home of yours :)

I hope that all of you manage to keep your fears under control. It must be an awful feeling and I feel for you :wub2:

When I went out this morning to feed the birds I got told off by the male pheasant for letting the feeders run out. He squawked at me and stood and waited whilst I filled them up. He usually waits under a nearby bush but just stood by me on the lawn.

At the moment it's dry and mild out there but I think it may rain.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

        Aloha Everyone,

Shiney, I am sure it will be better next year knowing where and to whom I am driving for certain will help. I don't get many panic attacks these days because I generally do not force myself to do things I am not 100% happy with.

Well Steve has a job in Witham to quarry tile a porch step and about 8ft of pathway. I cannot see him getting it done if the forecast is rain for a month and then I bet it will turn to frost so probably a job that will have to wait until spring.

Luckyluna welcome to the thread and thank you for the lovely pictures.

Kandy welcome home to the wet and wonderful. I hope you feel fully rested now and Mr K too.

Waves to WOO, Loli, Kaz, Penny et al that drop by on the thread. Take care of yourselves and have a great day despite the weather.

        Aloha!:wub2:

              Morning everyone,

Its cold here this morning, almost feels like frost out there.

We had a busy weekend, but got alot done around the house,, including cleaning the gas stove and furnace, so we could light them....needed it this morning!!

I'm off to Toronto shortly, so have a great day all.

                Good morning everyone,
It's a grey and windy one here but at least it's drying up:dbgrtmb:....i was having a cuppa and whatching the world go by just as it was getting light and noticed movement in 'Cluckingham Palace' ...the 'girls' were just going for breakfast...but then i also noticed that a young Blackbird and a Robin were fluttering around in the run....they must have got trapped in there over night:frown:Had to go and let them out but in doing so out come the chooks aswell:nonofinger:it's too early for them to be wandering the garden as Mr Fox has been known to pass through on his way home from a night out....managed to coaxs the girls back in with some corn but i got a few filthy looks:chicken:....Also noticed Ada has started on a moult, she looks really scruffy and almost 'oven ready'
I'll do a bit of pottering if the rain keeps off ,hope everyone stays dry:dbgrtmb: appart from those that need it:dbgrtmb:
                I wish you all well,Takecare:SUNsmile:

Mr L sat boult upright in bed at 3am as there was a bit of a racket going on outside that startled him....it was only 'Woo' and a pal on a night out;)...See Kaz i even call the owls Woo now:heehee:
