        Aloha everyone,

I hope that all of you that are getting too wet are able to cope OK.

I'm not feeling on top of the world as my lurgy has now gone to my chest but it hasn't become 'man-flu' yet :)

I have to go into town to sort out some forms for Barry in order to renew his Blue Badge.

I'll do some shopping for ourselves and I need to get extra in order to make some meals for one of Mrs Shiney's patients who is very poorly with cancer. She not doing too badly with the cancer but not coping very well the bad effects of the chaemo. She's coming tomorrow and I try to have some meals prepared ready for her to take home.

I'm also working on organising a big bridge tournament that is in a few weeks time. So all this will keep busy and not give me time to feel too sorry for myself :heehee:

I hope all of you and your furrys are well and, woo, keep your wings dry :dbgrtmb:

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

        Aloha everyone,

Yes, its a wet wet world at the moment and as you say Loli its damp towels all round as the furry babies do not care about getting wet. I am out to lunch today at 12 o'clock in Chelmsford so will have to take Amber for an early lunchtime walk before I go. It is just as well her walk first thing this morning was early too so at least the walks are spaced out roughly about the same as usual. Steve is here to look out for her as he cannot get on with the job he was doing which is laying quarry tiles on a step and walkway. so that will have to wait until it dries up a bit. He will start another indoor job tomorrow.

Shiney you sure have some work to keep you busy, I hope your cold doesn't progress any further. As you say if you keep busy you will not have time to feel sorry for yourself and then feel even worse for it.

I hope everyone else is ok and looking after themselves, waves to WOO, Kaz, Kandy and Penny. Have a great day all.

        Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone:smile:

Hope everyone is feeling good and looking forward to the forthcoming weekend:biggrin:

Feeling like a zombie this morning as I couldn't sleep last night so might go back to bed later:snooze:

I've been quiet busy catching up with all the work involved now we are back home and because the way the weather has been iffy havn't been able to get to the lottie yet to see what beans and raspberries there are to pick.My friend was looking after the allotment stuff but her hubby washed rushed to hospital part way through the holiday with a suspected stroke which turned out to be Bell's Palsy so he has been in hospital for nearly two weeks but I have just had an email to say he is home but has a bed downstairs as he can't climb the stairs:sad: I will ring her later to see if there is anything i can do to help as her kids are of no help :snork:

Anway, will try and catch up later on in the week/end:biggrin:

        Aloha everyone,

Moyra, I hope you had a good lunch yesterday.:)

Kandy, I wish your friend better. :dbgrtmb: I guess your beans would have grown a bit too big and, like ours, will need stringing down the sides. Ours have slowed down considerably and I only picked 3lb yesterday after not picking for 3 days.

Kaz, have a good lottie day. :blue thumb:

Woo, the wind has dropped here, so I hope you have smooth flying down your way
I got everything done yesterday but now have the full 'man-flu' - bad head, streaming cold, sore throat, bad cough, raw chest, bruised ribbed :sick0026: - but all parts south of there are working OK :heehee:. But I'll stay brave and not mention it at all :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

All I'm going to do today is organise a family and friends trip up to London for a private tour of the revamped Museum of London. One of my cousins will take the tour and give the talk as we go round - he's an art historian and historian and a very humorous speaker.

        Aloha!

              Aloha everyone,

Sorry I am so late today, I have caught Shiney's lurgy, Loli you didn't say just now that you too had it. Lets hope we all get well soon then.

Woo, I can only say again How desperately sorry I am for you and Gypsy may she rest in peace. (hugs)

I heard today that Steve's Gt Uncle had passed away and I had to phone him at work to relay the message from his second cousin. He was a good age at 91 and had been miserably ill for the past six months or more so it was a happy release for him.

Well I hope all you that are ill and under the weather feel better tomorrow and enjoy the rest of the day which has been gratefully dry today to get my washing dry.

              Aloha!:wub2:
