                  Aloha everyone,

I wish you good flying, woo :dbgrtmb:

Hi Jazmine, nice to see you. :)

I had a bit of a rough day yesterday but am feeling lots better at the moment. It seems to take so much longer nowadays to get over these things! Can't possibly have anything to do with age! :heehee:

The other day Mrs Shiney had a rather poorly patient coming for her visit. She has cancer and the chaemo she's having has made her feel knocked out and her mouth has become raw so she can't eat anything solid. So I cooked a week's worth of 3 course meals for her and her hubby (he's in his mid 80's and can't cook) and liquidised her's. They were very appreciative. :dbgrtmb:

                  Have a great Sunday

                  Aloha!

Woo, can you fly this far? I will make you a nice cup of tea and some toast -you will have to knock loudly to wake me up though :snork:
Shiney I bet that was appreciated - you are both great, I remember how kind Mrs Shiney was to me when I visited. She sorted me with something to take to help with my pre op nerves and also had a check of me and was spot on with her thoughts :blue thumb:
Hope everyone here has a lovely day, my family are keeping me very occupied, off to sort the "oldies" out today!

                    Good morning everyone,

Damp here this morning so looks like we have had some more rain so won't be getting any gardening done until it dries up.

Shiney, the lamb was very nice thanks and tasted better than the usual leg cut but I was shocked :yikes: as to how much fat there was on the meat and the amount of the stuff which i tipped into my fat jar:eeew:

Have a good day everyone in all that you do:smile:

                    Aloha everyone,

I'm much better today - almost human :heehee:. Although I'm not sure Mrs Shiney would agree :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Kandy, I'm pleased you enjoyed the lamb :dbgrtmb:. You can also cook it fast but the fat doesn't melt so much and you have to spend time carving it off as it's in layers through the meat. I used to save the fat and make fat balls for the birds (softened the fat and mixed small grains in with it).

We have a steady, very light rain this morning (3 hrs so far) which should help the garden. I was going to put the sprinkler on the area where we had planted our onions as the ground is so dry. I had to put the sprinkler on it before we planted as we couldn't even get a fork into the ground. As we've now got this rain, and the beans have almost finished, I think I'll put the long hose (200ft) and the sprinkler away for the winter. The short hose (100ft) stays out all year as it's used for the greenhouse, plant sales areas, pots and the hundreds of plants in the car port. There's no room for Mrs Shiney's car in there!!! :heehee:

I've got to take Mrs S to the station soon as she's off to lunch in a posh hotel in the West End. It's the annual lunch of her pensioner's association from where she worked. There's usually a few hundred of them. The whole thing is subsidised by the firm.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!
