    Aloha Everyone,

Thanks for the update on Poppy Kandi, hope she goes along ok so she can have the op.

Loli, glad the ribs are improving but do be careful not to try to overdo things before your ribs are ready!

Well at least the rain has stopped here and it is trying to dry up. Have a good day everyone and look after yourselves please.

    Aloha!:wub2:

Hi everyone, good to hear from you all.

Lovely and sunny this morning, been out this a.m. hubby had blood test, and me, I had to see doctor, she has signed me off for another month, and has put me on some different depression tablets. Been round our local market, wanted fig, but season finished. Had coffee at Costa's, I do look forward to my Cappucino. Came home to my post, had free sample of some creams, free sample of magnesium liquid, health drink sample. Tomorrow is my gardening magazine day, so I shall be all morning reading that. My grandson, Sam is 3 years old tomorrow, and my son,Adrian is going to bring him to see me in the afternoon. So that will be good to look forward to.

Have a good day everyone. xx:doggieshmooze:

    Aloha everyone,

    Woo, its looking good :dbgrtmb:

Lili, Waitrose has had figs on special offer (half price) for the last week or two so we have a fridge full of them as Mrs Shiney loves them :)

Coffee and craft morning here today so, hopefully, it will be busy. I went off to the village hall at 5.30 a.m. to borrow their tea urn and have now got everything laid out ready.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

    Aloha Everyone,

    WOO it is looking good!

I hope everyone is feeling better today including poppy. Take care everyone and have a good day and do look after yourselves please.

Cut a lot of winter jasmine back yesterday and cleared the wallflowers from the front border. Think I might try something different in there this year amongst the roses.

    Aloha!:wub2:

Woo that looks lovely, could you fly this way and build me one please? If you can fly in a straight line it won't take too long to get here unless you need a satnav :snork:
Hope everyone here has had a good day, I am now going to chill for the evening.

        Evening everyone,
Hope you have all had a good day. My 4 year old grandson, Samuel- Lorenzo came today for his birthday present, it was lovely to see him. I feel a bit sad as well though, seeing the next generation. I have had a bit of downess today, I woke up with the blues, hope I can cheer myself up. Going to Therapy on Tuesday, hopefully that will give a helping hand. Still, less of my misery, finished my last batch of jam and chutney making. Now just have to get ready to sort a venue. Got barbecue spare ribs roasting in the oven, so will be eating soon.
        Have a good evening everyone.xx:doggieshmooze:

            Aloha everyone,
The sun is coming out to play again today :dbgrtmb:

The coffee morning went very well and Mrs Shiney sold loads of her crafts . Although the morning started cold the sun soon warmed things up and some people even sat out in the garden to have their tea and cake. About a dozen stayed for lunch and then we were left with just four of us to clear up. All during the day I was receiving phone calls about today's tournament so it was getting a bit stressful having to organise the people calling and still sort out the coffee morning. Later on I cooked dinner for us.

Early in the morning I had not been too well and had been sick and was a bit shaky - flu type symptoms - but Mrs S gave me one of her magic potions and I survived :blue thumb:. By the evening I was exhausted and still feeling shaky but was OK. This morning I'm feeling quite a bit better :). I have to be at the village hall by 10 a.m. to get the place set up for the tournament. I've already organised what jobs everyone has to do so that part should run smoothly. Then I have to be back there to open up at 1 p.m. for the professional director to get all his equipment set up whilst I greet and organise the competitors. After giving my welcoming speech (including doing my impression of an airline steward giving directions in case of fire :heehee:) I hope I can settle down to a day of playing bridge. By the time I've sorted out the winners and done the prizegiving it should be 9 p.m. and I'll go and get Mrs Shiney and we'll go for an Indian.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

            Aloha everyone!

Shiney, do hope you are feeling better and continue to do so. You have had a busy time of it but am hoping your tournament goes well today and you enjoy your bridge.

Loli, hope you are feeling so much better today too.

WOO, I wonder how many of us have got stuck under Potter Heigham Bridge and the experienced the awe of coming across Breydon Water when its rough. We ran out of daylight and committed the ultimate sin of mooring up Breyden Water side of St. Olaves and of course when the tide went out we were tossed out of bed as our boat was being left perched on steel stakes sticking up out of the water! We learned our lesson that first year on the broads but had many more less adventurous ones later when we took our own boat up their for the summer seasons.

Have a good day everyone and take care of yourselves. Going to get some washing out in this lovely sunshine.

            Aloha!:wub2:
