Good morning everyone on this bonus of a Wednesday the last day of October 2012,I trust that you are all OK and well.I have to put a hold on my patio/turf project as I have discovered that previously at some time there was a large pond underneath the slabs, which is just been filled in with rubble,so its back to the drawing board for yours truly, have a great day my friends and please stay safe:)

    Aloha everyone,

Woo, as long as you can remove some of the rubble and put enough soil in there it should make a well drained lawn. I don't know how easy, or hard, it is to get some good soil into your garden . I wish you luck with it. :dbgrtmb:

I'm out all day at a friendly bridge tournament.

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

    Good morning everyone,
Isn't that just typical Woo...a if the job isn't hard enough and then you come across a snag...i'm sure you'll find a way round it though:thumbsup:
Shiney re legs and dogs...when my mum comes i make sure she has a thick blanket round her legs as her skin is so thin and her legs are swollen...even the slightest scratch would cause untold damage....the dogs are good though and are more gentle with her....
I hope Mr Lili has a better day today:dbgrtmb:
Moyra i bet we've got longer arms than most folk:doggieshmooze::heehee:
I've a day off today:dancy: so first job..pumpkin carving and a nice big pan of curried pumpkin soup to make:dbgrtmb:
Waves to all, enjoy your day and takecare:SUNsmile:

Yes Loli certainly my left arm must be a good six inches longer than the right. :doggiesmz: I have just come back from Ambers 3rd walk of the day and it is bitterly cold out there in the wind. Really time to hibernate.

WOO you sure do get yourself some project never find an easy job when you can find a hard one, Lol.

Hope you all have had a good day so far and I wish you all a pleasant evening.

          Aloha everyone,

After the monsoon we had in the early hours it looks as though we shall have a nice day

I've got a lot of little running around things to do but I'll do them walking :). A job I should have done some time ago is get the handle of a suitcase fixed. It tore during our holiday two years ago when some baggage handlers must have been over enthusiastic. We haven't been on a big holiday since and the case has been sitting up in our loft. I'll get up there and dig it out. I phoned the cobblers and they said they'll have a look at it. So I'll have to lug it into town. I'll take my library books back at the same time and get a load of new ones. Might as well do some shopping at the same time. That's half a day gone!

I'm also having lunch with a friend who lives half the year in a tiny village in France. He has just come back.

Tomorrow I'm off to Daventry for three days so it will give Mrs Shiney a chance to get her toyboys in :heehee:. I'm playing in a three day national, seniors (translation - wrinklies), bridge tournament and there will be a few hundred of us competing. We finish at 7.30 p.m. on Sunday and I shall then drive north to Coventry to visit some cousins - shouldn't miss opportunities like that! I'll stop and have a meal and a gossip and wend my way back down south about midnight. Should be home by two :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a good day and weekend

          Aloha!

            Morning everyone,:)

Its another cool and rainy day here, rained for Halloween here, but we still had about 50 kids.:blue thumb:

I plan on putting away my Halloween/Fall decorations today, and maybe pulling out some of the Christmas stuff, just to see if any lights need replaced, after i take Diesel for his walk. I was supposed to go to Toronto but thats probably tomorrow now instead. Maybe I'll go for a drive up the mountain and cut my cedar and pine boughs, we'll see.;)

Saw my first Christmas commercial lastnight....cant believe it!!:gaah:

Anyhow, I'm off to get some more coffee....so have a great day everyone.
