    Aloha everyone,

Jaz, you look great, bet you had a great time too.

WOO, hope you managed to get your car fixed so you can go to the rose farm next week.

You girls talking about decluttering makes me feel I ought to start but I shall do it at the beginning of December just before I put the Christmas decorations up.

Shiney, keeping my fingers crossed for you in your tournaments.

Kandy, any news on Poppy, is she responding to treatment? I do hope so.

Loli, I have treated Amber to some pigs ears and some paddiwack chews. Do your boys like them?

Have a good day everyone and do be kind to yourselves and take care. God bless.

    Aloha!:wub2:

          Good morning everyone,
I hope little Fred has recovered from last nights fire works Lilli although the poor little mite will no doubt have to go through it all again for the next couple of nights:sad:
I also hope Amber,Tiny and Penny , Willow and Poppy and all the other furries aren't suffering with the fireworks...Archi and Theo aren't bothered with them...but my other dog wasn't untill he reached about 4 years of age and then he was petrified...i've spent many a night squashed behind the settee cuddling him....i tried all the 'plug in' thingys, distractions, soothing music but eventually had to resort to sedatives which was just as saddening to see him spaced out as it was frightened.....
It's a dry frosty morning here, nice and fresh so i'll be out pottering shortly:dbgrtmb:
          Have a good day everyone,takecare:SUNsmile:

            Good morning everyone:smile:

Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days but have got a stinking cold that i have picked up from somewhere, but at least by having it now i should be ok for crimbo, just hoping that Mr Kandy doesn't get it as it is bound to turn into man flu:snork:

Woo,sorry to hear about your car troubles and hope you have managed to get it sorted by now:blue thumb:

Caz,Keep your Moo poo sounds lovely but don't overdo it with the shifting of it as i know myself that it can be very hard work.We only have leaves to gather these days from our leaf man but it is hard work for us as well as we usually have at least seventy odd dustbin bagfuls to move from his and his neighbours lawns:biggrin:

Penny, the snow looks good {for me as a snow lover that is}although i hope you don't get too much or the freezing weather that goes with it :thud:

Loli,do your chooks like the snow or do they usually stay inside in their lovely warm coops when the weather is bitter and snowy?

Moyra, we have an appointment to take Poppy and Willow to the vets on Tuesday evening,Willow for a check up as he keeps being sick {not been well since he went to the cattery}and to hopefully have his annual booster and Poppy to have another blood test now she has been on the tablets a month to see if the levels have come down enough for her to be operated on,but until the results come through it is a waiting game at the moment  Hope you and Amber are both keeping well and warm:smile:

Well,we had some rain yesterday morning which soaked everywhere and this morning we have frosty weather but it has just started raining so won't be going off leaf gathering any time soon so will just have to stay in the warm for the time being:snork:

Hope Shiney has had a good tournament and that is wins lots of nice tropies:biggrin:

Enjoy your sunday everyone in all that you do:smile:

            Hi Loli,

Our cats dn't like the firewroks much especailly Poppy and we had to have the telly turned right up when the village display was on.We used to have a collie x and the collies have sensative hearing and she always was in a right state shivering and shaking, panting with her eyes on stalks so i know where you are coming from regarding the state they get it.:eeew:

              Aloha everyone,

Kandy, well I hope both cats continue to do well sorry they do not like the fireworks but it is to be expected. Maybe some laid back music will relax both you and them and then they will not feel the vibes of frustration at the noise.

Loli like your boys Amber is not bothered however, tonight and tomorrow may be a bit more heavy with them so we shall see. I have tried to not to react to them myself and I think this does help Amber. If I don't find them a problem just usually utter words such as b' fireworks and show no concern then hopefully she will think likewise. really worried about your chooks though cannot imagine they like them.

I do hope Shiney did well at his tournement yesterday and enjoys meeting up with his cousins tomorrow. I hope Hannah is enjoying the peace doing her courses over the weekend while shiney is away. Must be lovely to chill out the way she does.

Well WOO , hope you got your car going and hope you haven't had the torrential rain we have had because your garden especially where you are working will be a quagmire. I took Amber out earlier in torrential rain and must take her again soon but it is pelting down and my foot is bad today so I cannot walk quickly.

AH the sun has just imerged better get Amber out quick and back again before the next down pour. WOO I might even get to see a beautiful rainbow. Catch up with you all later. Do take care and have a good day.

              Aloha!:wub2:

Lovely WOO,. I managed to take Amber again when the skies lifted, and just in time got back again and it has since fallen down again with menace. So dark! Yes hopefully this will quell the firework displays tonight. Poor little Penny and Tiny must drive them mad. Lolis boys and my girl are big and brave and think it silly to be afraid of big bangs. Someone said that their dog got worse as they got older so I hope that Amber doesn't. I do think if you jump at the noise or show signs of not likeing them then the animals will too. Hope Gypsy in her spiritual being will go bite their bums and ruin their nights.!!!! Take care all.

Loli, I for one will not think you are mad if you let your chooks into the kitchen tonight until the fireworks are finished. I like to see fireworks but lets have them in controlled displays..............New Year and Olympics and such..........not just for any old reason.

                  Aloha everyone,

I've just this moment got back from my weekend away. It was a very enjoyable three days of bridge - until almost 11.30 each night. We finished at 7.30 tonight and then I drove to Leicester (not Coventry as I think I said in an earlier post), had a good meal and chat and then drove home.

Although it was a very enjoyable weekend we didn' get in the prizes this year.

                  Speak to you later.

                  Aloha!
