    Aloha everyone,

I hope everyone is feeling OK today and that Kandy is getting better. :dbgrtmb:

Well, I got quite a lot done in the garden yesterday and I ache a bit today. It can't be muscle ache as I don't have any muscles nowadays :heehee:. The hardest job was cutting and shaping one of my conifers. It was 13ft high and it was quite difficult holding my 6ft long hedge cutter at arms length to do the upper part. But it worked out alright.
    P1140095.JPG

I've still got shaky arms but am OK otherwise. I've got two more that are similar and about 60ft of 10ft high conifer hedge to do.

Today I'm taking it easy and have a bridge league match this afternoon. It should be quite an interesting match as the opposition are my sister's team.

I've bought myself some new trainers (don't wear shoes) the other day. I would like to buy them from a shop locally but they're so much cheaper online. I've been wearing Hi Tech Silver Shadow for about 30 years, or more, and find them very comfortable. They're soft and lightweight and are good for my feet. My size 12's only cost £22. :dbgrtmb:

It seems as though we may have another good day today as the sun is shining - but the clouds to the north look a bit threatening.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Size 12!!!!!?????? :thud: So, you're tall then, Shiney :) Your conifer looks stunning.

I'm taking Mr Mum out for lunch today (he's been a good boy :pathd: ). No gardening today; yesterday's efforts were enough.

Wishing all a day of love and laughter xMx

        Aloha everyone,

I don't know Shiney, you seemed all in proportion to me dear. Very nice proportions if I might say so and your conifer looks fantastic! Nicely proportioned too!

Mum, enjoy your lunch out today.

Kandy, My word I think you need to pass the hat round that's a heck of a lot of money. I take it they are not insured. Glad Poppy is putting on weight, just a case of getting Willow's breathing right.

WOO, the garden is coming along a treat now, just make sure you take it steady though no overdoing things.

Loli, Penny, Kaz et al friends of the thread. hope you are all ok today.

        Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone,

Its a cold, frosty morning here, had to let the truck warm up!!

I'm more or less home today, i was in Toronto all day yesturday....so i plan on raking, finish cleaning out the urn's so i can add my pine and cedar boughs, and then this afternoon we are driving down to get Kait and bring her home for the weekend.

I'm in Toronto again tomorrow after my hair appointment, so come Sunday when its time to take Kait home, I'll be sick of driving, or being in the truck!!

Off to get some more coffee, and then take Diesel out for his walk, and then off to the bank........so have a great day all.

        Aloha everyone,

The sun is trying really hard to stay shining but doesn't quite seem to have made up its mind.

I hope that all of you, and your non-human friends, that are a bit poorly are feeling a lot better and that you will have a good weekend. :dbgrtmb:

It's another busy day today as we are going out with friends. :)

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

          Aloha everyone,

So who has got all the sunshine then not a peek of it to be seen here, looks more like rain.

Not feeling that great this morning. Forgot to take my tramadol last night so got the awful symptoms that happen when withdrawing from it. Just like flu its horrible.

Hope everyone else is ok. Have a good day out Shiney and Loli you make sure that sparrowhawk doesn't come down, whats he after the chooks food?

Waves to WOO, Kandy, Penny and Loli et al. Have a good day all and do look after yourselves please.

          Aloha!:wub2:

          Morning everyone,

Its a little cool here this morning, although no frost overnight.

We picked up Kait lastnight, so she's home until Sunday.

I have a hair appointment at 9am, and then off to Toronto for Brad.

          Have a great day all.

Kandy, I went shopping late this afternoon and Sainsburys have shoulder of lamb on offer at £5 per kg. I remember you said you liked it the other week. You don't have to buy the whole shoulder but can ask them to cut it in half for you. I prefer the blade half and not the knuckle half. :dbgrtmb:
