    Morning everyone,

Its another cool one here, and we had a dusting of snow again overnight too.

I'm off to do some deliveries for Brad today, and have some shopping to do too.

    Have a great day all.

      Aloha everyone,

I have been in absolute agony with my feet. I ran out of my gout tablets which usually stop me getting inflammation in my feet. Like an idiot I drank a lot of pure orange juice last night and so this morning I could hardly walk. I told Steve but he wasn't interested in taking Amber for a walk so I had to shuffle my way up to the top green. Fortunately there was another dog there she could play with so she did get a good run around and then I had to shuffle my way back home again. Amber was absolutely marvellous the way she knew I could not walk any quicker and stayed by my side, bless her for an 18 month dog she is so aware. I cannot get my everyday shoes on I have had to use strappy sandals which fortunately are ajustable and I can leave them loose across that part of my foot that is swollen both feet are bad but the left one is the worse I cannot bear to touch it but I have gently rubbed some jointace gel into it which has eased it a little. It is nearly time for Amber's 2nd walk of the day and Steve has gone fishing so he doesn't have to watch me in agony!

Welll I sincerely hope everyone else is ok and if suffering get some relief from your pain too. Have a good day everyone. God Bless.

      Aloha! :wub2:

      Good evening everyone:smile:

We have just got back from our evening walk round the village and it was so bright with the full moon we didn't have to worry about using a torch and was amazed to see a rainbow type effect due to ice crystals about a foot to the left of the moon and it looked quiet good:snork:

A quick update on Willow. He has gained another two ounces in weight which the3 vet is pleased with although his breathing only has a slight improvement so the vet has now put him on Steroids {Prednicare tabs,5mg} which we have to give him 1 1/2 a day.If these don't work then it will be specialist treatment:sad: Anyway,it was only Willow that went for a check up this time but next time it will be both of them to be weighed and Poppy I assume to have another blood test as she will have been on the meds for two months so the vet needs to see if the Thyroid is being kept under control:biggrin:

Jazmine, sorry to hear of your fall and I sgree with Loli, you need rest and to get it looked at to make sure you havn't done any permanant damage:eeew:

Woo,your pond looks good and i am sure you will have many hours of enjoyment with it.

Loli,i have been overdoing things with the last of the leaf gathering and i dread to think how many bags i have shifted and i still have to get them into the composting builders bags down on the lottie, but it looks like they are done now for another year:hapydancsmil:
In one way i am glad we no longer have a dog as i used to hate this time of the year when she got muddy and wet and was forever having to wash the kitchen floor and a soggy dog doesn't go down very well with light coloured house carpets:eeew:

Moyra, sorry to hear about your Gout.Mr Kandy suffered with it once years ago and had to have tablets from the Dr to get rid of it.We put it down to all the grapefruit juice he drank every morning for years.I do hope you get some relief from it soon.It is a pity i don't live near you as i could do the doggy run with Amber which would help you,but please just take it easy and go carefully when taking her out:smile:

        Aloha everyone,

Thankfully it is on the mend. Still cannot get my everyday shoes on so still with the sandals that have the velcro straps across. I have managed to tighten them a little today so the swelling is going down. Still shuffling along with Amber though but she goes mad and has a good run when I let her off the lead.

Glad Willow and Poppy are coming along ok. I hope everyone else who is suffering is feeling better and do take care of yourselves please.

        Aloha!:wub2:

            Aloha everyone,

Well I am definitely on the mend but how are you Kaz are you still suffering? I hope not hope you too are on the mend.

I actually got Steve to talk Amber for a walk yesterday as I was none too well and bless him he did. But I have to go to bed first before he realizes that I have had enough. Still feeling much much better today, yesterday's rest is what I needed. Still cannot get my everyday shoes on so still in open sandals but I think I might have tightened the velcro straps a trifle more today so the swelling must be going down.

Really cold out there first thing. Do take care on the ice everybody.

            Aloha!:wub2:
