    Good morning, all!

Moyra, hope your swellings go down and your spirits lift.

Jazmine - Ouchie!! Hope you are well on the road to recovery; if you are still in any pain, do get it checked out. I'd planned on making my Christmas cards this year; they will only be simple ones due to all my craft stuff being in boxes in the loft since we moved here

woo - love your water feature :dbgrtmb:

Kandy - good to hear Willow and Poppy's progress

C/kaz - sending get well wishes your way.

Lurgy-Loli - vitamin C in frequent doses. Don't forget to post pix of your roses when you are well enough to dig them in (which, of course isn't *now* :nonofinger: )

The waterlogged copse end of my garden was a miniature skating rink this morning. Let the ducks out and they rushed over to it. Thankfully it was quite thin because their weight was enough to crack it :heehee:

I'm making progress on desensitising Ozzy to a lead collar (been working on it for a few days and already he is eager to get his head into it .... for his liver cake reward!. Hoping today I can get as far as buckling it up behind his ears. If I can achieve that today, next week will be getting him used to a lightweight lead dangling from it ... All I want for Christmas is to be able to "walk" my dog, not be dragged around behind him  Patience, patience, patience.

Wishing you all a day of smiles xMx

      Aloha everyone,

Foot still painful this morning and still not shrunk enough to get my everyday shoes on. Never mind we shall survive. Loli hope you are feeling better today I have only just noticed you said you got the lurgy! Should think the ground a bit hard for digging in roses though!

Kaz and others suffering do hope you too are feeling better today.

Got most of my cards written out last night now just got to find the money to post them. I know a lot of people who have e-mail addresses of their friends and family have said e-cards only this year. I do feel that is a shame but I can understand with the way postage has gone up. Rather concerned what my Canadian, Australian and New Zealand cards are going to cost to post but never mind it is only once a year.

Have a good day everyone enjoy the sunshine that is appearing here hope it is too where you are. God bless.

      Aloha!:wub2:

Good to see you Shiney :)
Here is a tiny selection of my crafts, the photos don't show the full effect- the cards are layered up so are a bit decoupage-the purses are to give out at my art group as the people there were looking at one I had made at the last session.

          Good morning!

Good to see you shiney (wondered where you'd got to). My internet goes into "it's my ball and I'm going in :nonofinger: " mode every so often; reboots, defrags, a few words about the PC's parentage and ..... sometimes it works ;)

Jazmine - very pretty!! Thank you for posting them :)

          Lurgy ... more Vit C!!

Woo - you are always so chipper; it makes my day :)

Moyra - hope today is the day you can get your shoes back on!

Very drab outside today. Mr Mum has a "delivery" arriving so I've been banned from the house for much of the day. I'm going to go gift shopping (and to gather the last ingredients/materials I need to finish off the homemade stuff), see if a friend is available for lunch (if not I'll treat myself anyway :heehee: ). And I will try, *try* to not vere off into the garden centre I have to pass on the way there and back (well, it is if I go the long way round: to avoid the main traffice, of course  )

Miles of smiles everyone :) :) :) xMx

            Aloha everyone,

Mum, you're right todays the day with a little discomfort I have managed to get my everyday shoes on. Yippee. Loli, sorry you are still suffering and Kaz. Hopefully all will feel better tomorrow. Yes very wet here too. I have to go to PC World to get a new lead that connects my monitor to the pc. There must be a small fracture there somewhere as I have to get the lead positioned just right to get the connection. Wont do! What's slowing your service down Shiney. I know somedays Virgin can be slow. I am not sure we ever get as much speed as we are supposed to get.

Well have a good day all and Mum try not to spend too much in the garden centre!

            Aloha!:wub2:

Aloha everyone, I expect to have this connection problem for a few weeks but it should be OK for Christmas.

That's a pain Shiney, hope it gets sorted soon.
I have had a lovely day, got weighed at weightwatchers and have now lost a stone thank goodness :)
I then met my son and DIL for a good christmas shopping session and got treated to coffee and a scone. We eventually went back to their house where I spent time with my lovely Princess who did a flying leap into my lap :snork:
              Hope everyone feels better soon.

                  Aloha everyone,

Looks like today may be a better day weatherwise, yesterday was foul. I hope everyone is feeling better, still struggling with my feet but slowly getting there.
Loli, shame you only have one day off for Christmas. Glad you still have your woody woodpecker flitting around the garden. My Jays have polished off all the loose peanuts. I like to know where they are storing them because they couldn't have eaten that lot in the time they whipped them away! Thankfully I have a holder for peanuts which the blue tits can get their share. The sparrows out there are enjoying the fatballs and the seed but for the fatballs they have to get in line with the starlings who are a greedy bunch but they have their half coconuts too. I reckon I shall have to make another lot of fat balls and coconuts up again soon.

Have a good day everyone and take care of yourselves.

                  Aloha!:wub2:

                  Morning all :)

Still dark here, but dry (dry enough to let Ozzy out for his business with me still in my pj's).

Not sure what today holds so I shall just wait and see what unfolds.

Miles of smiles to one and all xMx
