I need to get on with these Christmas cakes i'm dragging my heels again.....they've had more than there fair share of Brandy so if i get the snuggled up in the marzipan they won't be tempted for more
Mum i wander around in my pj's in all weathers but i am getting more sensible now it's cold and wet.....i put my boots on too

What a cold white morning! I have been up coughing and spluttering so the dreaded lurgy has finally had its way with me. I must be bad because Steve got up and took Amber ought for her walk in the snow and ice without me even asking him.

Amber loves it I watched from the window as he played with her in the snow throwing a piece of wood for her to fetch and chase.

I hope everyone else is ok. WOO thank you for the lovely rose and please do sing if you feel like it. Loli, I don't know whether you have got the snow but I wonder what the chooks think of it and your boys. By the way you talking about Brandy into the cakes reminds me of the joke that went around about making the Christmas Cakes and Puddings with everything ending up all over the place and more of the contents of the bottle being inside the cook than in the said Cakes.

Its cool and starting to snow here, been nice the past couple of days though.

I'm home today, so i need to do some errands, and have some shopping to do.

Kaits home this week, she'll go back on Sunday and she has exams next week, and Saturday is Natalie's b-day.

Off to get some more coffee....so have a great day all.

 

Hi, I'm still here, just don't get on website so often now, as I have problems loading onto the site.

Peter,OH still has a bad chest, third visit to doctor's, he is now on a codeine based cough mix, as it is a virus, chest x-rays came back clear. Terrible when he coughs, just a whooping cough. Just hope is well enough to visit his nephews for Xmas, going up to Rutland.

Me, well, I have had a sore throat for the past 2 days, nothing else materialised yet.

Getting used to wearing my new contact lenses, been on my weeks trial, tomorrow get the ok that they are alright, then bye bye glasses, at least during the day.

Fred, my wee doggie is so much better, since going to the vets, I was really worried when he was sick.

No snow here, yet. Thursday hopefully will not be too bad, as have to take Peter back to doc's.

I managed to get in again.

Been to doctors with OH, more cough medicine, hopefully will cover over the holidays.

I am now with my contact lens, and hope I can start wearing make up again.

Blooming freezing here, car needed good scraping, least we did not have snow.

Going to have a good rest this afternoon, doing my knitting, making cable headbands with fascinators. Also making myself a pair of fingerless gloves.

We only had a light dusting of snow here which has now frozen over...the roads are quite bad which makes for interesting driving....just tucked the 'girls' up for the night,there's so much straw in their coop you can hardly see them...they look real cute

Evening all, I am soo tired - had a couple of full days!
Yesterday was a whole day of art therapy then straight over to my sons to look after little man and the dogs, didn't get home till about 9pm then today I worked at my other sons house!
Better than sitting at home twiddling my fingers I suppose

We had quite a bit of rain last night shiney. When Steve came home from his club it was tipping it down. Didn't stop Amber from wanting to go out in it though!

Finally managed to get on here as i have been quiet busy what with all the preperations going on

I do hope that everyone is ok and bearing up well despite the rotten weather although i expect Shiney will be having better weather than us knowing what he is like for attracting the sun

Jazmine your crafts look really good and you are a very talented lady You would get on very well with my older sister as she can turn her hand at anything to do with crafts and baking but unfortunatley i never got the craft genes passed on to me only the gardening ones

Anyway,I have been down to see the Diet betic nurse for my results from the arm full of blood i had taken the other day and everything is excellent for a non Diet betic {her words}although my Cholestrol is still a fraction higher than she would like so have to go back for another armfull to be taken and if the levels are not down into the 4's will have to go on Statins The good news is though that at my request and her agreement i can come off the meds gradually but have to check my levels several times a week and if they start to go back up will have to go back on the tablets again but i am going to see if i can do it with just diet and exercise,which will be difficult with crimbo round the cornerOh,and i have lost 7lb in weight which is another good thing as well

Anyway the pussy cats are ok and still taking their meds like good little pussies and they will be going back to see the vet withing the next two weeks for a check up and more supplies of tablets me thinks...

Had our second lof of snow of the year this morning but it has all gone now and the sun is shining although it is bitterly cold and windy still out there,brrrrr
