Yawn Yawn, Wakey Wakey...!!!! MK7...

Hello everyone,

Day started off with sleety rain, put me off a bit, had to take OH for blood test.

Filled up with petrol..£40 ????

As the weather improved a little, decided to go into town, did Xmas shopping for grandsons, and family we are going to this holiday.

Back home, made a fresh pot of soup, lentil and ham, fried off onions and mushrooms with garlic, ooh I do love that smell.

Going to do a bit of knitting later, got a cold and not feeling so good, throat sore and tickly. Dosed myself up, might have a doze.

Evening all
I have been out all day with Dionne and we had a bad time in the mall-a poor lady collapsed and hit her head, was bleeding heavily, having a fit and other things which I won't mention here. Dionne was amazing and calmly took control and did everything the paramedics were telling her to do- the lady eventually regained consiousness but was vomiting and had no idea what was happening. Once she was stabilised they took her off to hospital, I hope and pray she is recovering nicely. I felt a bit bad afterwards, it was all a shock. Apart from that a lovely day.

Hi Shiney, Woo, Moyra, Liliana, Loli, Kandy - Kandy well done on the weight loss. I struggle with mine hence the slimming club. A stone lighter now but hard to keep off!

Hope your cold is getting better Lili i though i'd got rid of mine but it's back with a vengence.....i've eaten more garlic than you can throw a stick at...there's one thing no vampire would want to take a chunk out of me...i'm now onto kiwi fruit...heard on the radio yestersday that there is at least twice as much Vitamin C in them than there is an Orange...so i'm giving it a go

Another coat of mascara and i'm good to go.....

Quite a bright morning even if somewhat cold. Amber's full of it this morning just picked up a chew and headed for Steve's room that is where she will give him the chew and ask yes ask in three syllables for "saus age ges" comes out like three little grunts or three whimpers. She has to get it right to get her dried sausages that Steve keeps a small stock of.

I am still snuffling but feeling a bit brighter thanks Loli. I hope you pick up soon.

Just catching up with everyone: get well wishes to those under par (son came home with a cold/headache/throat the other day ... I dose him up with fizzy Vit C tablets at the first signs, it does seem to help).

It's photograph time in our world today; ds is off to Spain in February with an exchange trip and he has to take photo's of us to send to the person he will be staying with. I absolutely loathe having my picture taken so it will be deep breaths, put on a happy face and get-over-yourself venture

Need to tidy up my bucket pebble fountain today but not much else will be going on in the garden; I have baking to do instead (with my new, shiney KitchenAid toy ).

Woke up this morning really bunged up with cough and cold. Just what I need.

Must finish my Christmas wrapping today- and get the cards sealed to post off on Monday.

At least it is milder today, might have a walk around the garden later, see what veg we shall have with our dinner today.

Kaz look sfter yourself and get better soon. WOO glad you found the camera you wanted. My Steve has just shown me some lovely photo's of a young fox he used to hand feed. He managed to take some lovely photos close up even one eating from his hand.
