      Good morning Shiney and everyone:smile:

Shiney,I sometimes have snail connection problems and it doesn't help either with the fact that i can't type very fast:snork: Hope all is well with both you and Mrs Shiney and hope that your weather is still good down in your part of the world:biggrin:

Jazmine,it was lucky that you and your DiL was on hand to help out that dear old lady.I do hope that she is now on the road to recovery.:blue thumb:Good news though with the weight loss and very well done to you:dbgrtmb:

Woo,good luck with the new camera and hope you have many hours of happy snapping with it,especially as we have the winter coming up. :dbgrtmb:

Moyra, that is a lovely story about Steve and the fox eating out of his hand and it must have been a lovely sight to see:biggrin: Hope your feet are a bit better now and that you are able to take Amber for her walks albeit short ones:doggieshmooze:

Loli, hope you are coping ok with work and getting everything done for Christmas.Have you got your Christmas tree up yet?Mr Kandy has put up the main tree and was putting lights up outside and inside yesterday.I expect for you like all us ladies it will be non stop before we finally get to the day:smile:

Caz,many thanks for the kind words to us all and hope that you are feeling a bit better now after your chest infection the other week:blue thumb:

Lili, sorry to hear you are bunged up with a cold and hopefully it will be cleared up before Christmas day.I have got all the prezzie wrapping done and a few cards written out but have to get a move on soon as we have one that needs to go to France and another to Spain so don't want to miss the last posting date:snork:

Penny hope you had a good weekend as well and that you are not having too much of the cold weather at the moment:smile:

Mum,lucky you with the new Kitchen Aid.We saw them on the Great British Bake Off a few months ago but i think with the small amount of baking we do it would for us be a bit of a waste of money. What colour did you go for?I think most of the country will be on a diet after January 1st:snork:

Have a good day everyone and please stay warm if you have to venture out:smile:

          Aloha everyone,

Lovely morning out there although there is rain in the wind. Pretty cold too.

We are having the last bit of our cavity wall insulation done this morning. They had to bring a cherry picker in as Steve's shed in the corner of the garden up against the flat wall prevents them from getting to the 1st and 2nd storey flats. Still marvellous machine did the trick.

I have to pop down into Wickford to the vets to pick up Amber's flea and worm treatment. So had better go before the traffic gets too much.

Good to see you Shiney, why is the system on a slow go?

Have a good day everyone and get well those who are still suffering. Kandy my feet are much better thank you back to my everyday shoes better than sandals this weather.

          Aloha!:wub2:

          Evening all,

          I god a snotty gnose, and my chest's wuff.:cry3:

Had my monthly checkup, my glands are swollen as well, and I have had to have my painkillers doubled up, as my hands are wracked with pain.. :cry3:

So I feel Bleeping bad, OH not sympathetic or helpful at all.:redx:

So today, I finally got my Christmas letter written to go in with the cards, finished wrapping pressies. Cleared most of my paperwork stacked on my computer table, and got a lot of shredding done.

Started to try and get my knitting done, and had to stop as my hands were aching too much, so I am going to catch up with some magazines I have got hanging around.

So everyone take care this evening xx:doggieshmooze:

          Evening friends.

Kandy - the KA was a gift so I didn't get any choice in the colour: white! With all the eggs I get, the very best way to use them up is baking (especially the duck eggs) and Mr Mum and the Mini-Men do like a slice of cake with a cuppa (I don't eat it ;) ) Plus, I'm baking for Christmas gifts this year. The KA is a very robust machine and I'm quite sure it will outlive me. And I'm thoroughly enjoying experimenting with it :dbgrtmb:

Strange start to the day: Mr Mum saw a carrier bag in the front garden (no surprise, the locals tend to view it as their personal recycling resource :rolleyespink: ) but, inside were ... 4 copies of the Dairy Diary 2013 :hate-shocked: Looks like someone is going to be out of a job this Christmas ... they sell for £7 a time and someone has just dumped them!! Wouldn't like to be in their shoes when the complaints from customers come in that they are missing their order.

Get well wishes to those under par :grphg:

          Miles of smiles

Mum,i didn't realise that you could still get those Dairy Diaries as i used to buy them off our milkman{co-op}and i loved the fact that as well as a diary you got household tips and loads of other stuff and i would spend hours reading it as well as filling bits of the diary.I think mine used to be about £4 but well worth the money. We started to buy our milk in bottles from the supermarket so gave up with putting out the coloured tokens each day.I think Waitrose have all the token now which they dish out to their customers:snork: Yes the KA looked very good when we looked at them in our local cookware shop and was nearly tempted in the cerise one but had to spend the money on Christmas prezzies so can't have everything:snork:

Moyra, glad to hear that your feet a lot better now and you are back to wearing proper shoes instead of sandals and you will be as warm as toast with the insulation now which should help the bills:smile:

Lili,i have had cronic joint pain this year due to the cold and wet and it has gone from my wrists and ankles to my hand and feet bones so know how you must be feeling.Sometimes i can't sleep at night because of it and am hoping for a nice hot summer next year but hen will have problems with the humidty.Quiet a few people i have talked to this year have all had the same problem so it seems to be quiet common:eeew: I still have a couple of letters to write to go with cards but can't be bothered with it at the moment.:snork: Hope you start to feel much better soon:smile:

Hello everyone, late again but have been out all day -weightwatchers then trying to get the last of the pressies. I am stuck with my mothers " don't get me clothes, I don't want DVDs, no books, no ornaments etc etc" my dad is so easy to please :)
I hope everyone suffering at the moment gets better before Christmas.
I need to get my backside into gear to have the stuff ready for London when we go to see my sister :gaah:

            Aloha everyone,

I wish all of you a lot better as you seem to be a bit poorly. Mrs Shiney is also feeling a bit under the weather and I've just made her a hot drink with ginger and lemon.

            Keep well.

            Aloha!

              Aloha Everyone,

Shiney, sorry to hear Hannah is suffering too, wish her better from me. WOO, oh poor you a quick rub down with an oily rag I reckon, I'll be round in a while. Lost my broomstick so now I'm in trouble. I wont be able to get across the Thames then.

Hope everyone else is beginning to feel better. There's some nice sunshine out there now to melt the Jack Frost away. Boy it was white with frost this morning out there.

Have a nice day everyone. Stay safe.
