Yes the birds are certainly enjoying their fat balls and half coconuts. It is so cold hopefully it will change tomorrow though, would be nice without rain though. Shiney, hope when you come back online it will be with all guns blazing instead of limping along as you have been. Good luck. Hope Hannah is feeling much better. God Bless. xxx

    Evening all,

Well, had to go out early today, Had to take OH to Reading to get his eye looked at(3rd visit in 18 months).
Managed to see consultant this time, and he agreed that this visit showed that his eye condition had stabilised, and that he did not need any medical intervention.

Me, well, I am on the mend, not so bunged up, hopefully things will be well and truly cleared up for Christmas.:yay:

I seem to be plagued at the moment though, I tripped over the metal lintel to my conservatory, caught my second toe on my right toe, which I think I have broken, and re-opened a wound on my big toe on my left foot. I think shall take a drive round to A&E to see if anything can be done.

Well, hope you are all toasty warm, and safe. xx

    Gooooooood morning!!

Ouch liliana, must have hurt catching your toe like that! Do you have a "drop-in" clinic you could attend? Takes less time to be seen than an A&E. When I broke my toe they couldn't do anything for it but strap it. Either way, hope you're not in pain. Great news re: OH's eye :dbgrtmb:

Missing you already, Shiney! See you in a week (do hope Mrs S is on the mend?)

Penny, hope you didn't overspend in Walmart ;) :heehee:

No frost this morning in Mum's Land :dancy: but still nippy.
Need to get an appointment at the vets today; think Ozzy has conjunctavitus and my bathing it hasn't seen any improvement. Mr Mum has been taking him down the beach for the past few mornings so it may be a bit of sand in his eye. I'll know for sure later.
Going to make a sultana and rosemary loaf today (rosemary from my garden :) ) Sounds a weird combo, but it's gorgeous toasted with butter.

Miles of smiles to one and all xMx

    Aloha All,

Lili, you are going through the wars, hope your toe is not broken but even if it is badly bruised is going to be sore for some time. Take it easy.

Mum, Poor Ozzie hope his eye will soon be better. dogs are apt to get things in their eyes whether it be grass seed or indeed sand. Take good care of him. Sure he will be fine soon.

Waves to everyone else Hope you are all keeping well if not hope you will be better soon, take care and stay safe.

    Aloha!:wub2:

Until a few minutes ago I was at the post office to ship the first batch of parcels with gifts direct in Italy, as they always take so many days to deliver them.
The second part of the parcels are directed to Iceland/ Scandinavian countries, I can ship them several days later.
At the same time I changed 200 euros in GBP at the post office and I was very disappointed by the amount that I was paid!
Either the post office takes a disproportionate amount in commissions, or the euro is ever so low...maybe I should change GBP in euros next time!
With regard to Christmas gifts I always seems to start too late to do everything and no matter how soon I start, I always end up being late.

        Good morning Loli and everyone:smile:

Oh dear Loli, poor old Theo with the poorly tummy,I do hope he feels a lot better soon and yourself included:grphg: and hope your working day goes off ok as well:blue thumb:

Yes we have been quiet busy here the last few days getting more Christmas lights up and it is all looking good and yesterday morning we went off to pick up a load of pallets that someone wants to get rid off and twice we had to trek over to the lottie to add them to our pallet mountain:snork: In the afternoon we popped into the town where i was born as we had 20% off voucher to use in M&S and then on the way home called in Curry's to buy a new toaster as i had accidently dropped our 15 year old one and broke it so much to Mr Kandy's disgust we had to go out and buy a cheapish new one as i told him the old one was beyond repair:whistle:

It looks like we are not getting any snow for Christmas so the garden birds will be pleased as they won't have to put up with artic conditions now that the big freeze won't be coming our way:snork:

Have a really good day everyone in all that you do and hope that anyone not feeling too good feels a lot better soon:smile:

        Morning all,
Hope all the poorly ones are feeling better.:blue thumb:
I am on the mend, though the cold is well and truly stuck in my sinuses, every time I blow my nose, my ears pop, and what an earache!! :sick0026:

Still, not going to let that stop me, I, with the help of the OH moved all the furniture in the sitting room, and gave it a thorough hoover and dust through.

Poor Fred hates the big cleaner, it does not come out that often as it is very heavy, but it is very powerful I have another one which is used on a daily basis.

I am going to blitz the computer room today, and I am even going to make a pork roast for tonight, after all that I think it will be a good lie down.:snooze:

        Have a happy day.xx

        Aloha everyone,

Lili, it is nice when it is all done and dusted makes you feel good, hope your toes are ok.

Kandy what are you going to do with all your palletts are you going to build raised beds with them? or just build them round into compost heaps so you can turn them easily.

Miss our Shiney and do hope he is ok and enjoying his time away from the site. I guess we could all do with a break from our computers once in a while.

Hope Theo is ok now Loli. Amber sometimes has a tummy upset but then she will insist on eating things she finds in the grass on her walks before I can stop her doing it. Wouldn't mind betting it is cat or foxes' poo! Dirty little monkey.

Have a good day everyone, the sun is shining here it is quite lovely out there.

        Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone.

GC had gone down yesterday for a large part of the evening so couldn't get on so the shilling must have run out in the meter again :snork:

Moyra, the pallets are hopefully going to be used as fencing round our 30 pole of allotment to hopefully keep the rabbits out but as Mr Kandy is slowing down in the DIY department,I am not holding my breath:biggrin:

Loli, glad that the furries are a lot better now and make sure you don't go and get any more of those nasty bugs that are going around...Take it easy at work,i know you do a fantastic job and all credit to you:blue thumb:

Lili, when we had our dog she used to hate the hoover and the cats are petrified of it so have to make sure they are out of the way before i start doing:biggrin:

Hope everyone else is feeling ok as well:smile:

We are off to the vets tonight as the pills are running out for Poppy and Willow so it will be another blood test for pops and see what the vet suggests for Willow. His breathing is down to 34 breathes a minute, but when he purrs even that sound sounds noisy so he still isn't right:sick0026:

        Have a good day everyone:smile:

          Aloha Everyone,

Glad the boys are both over their upset tummies Loli. Kandy that sounds a job and a half to fence round that lot.

Mustn't spend too much time on here today got two freezers to clean out and tidy so I know exactly what I have or haven't got. Also to make room for the deliveries coming this week. So have a good day everyone and look after yourselves, God bless.

          Aloha!:wub2:
