    Good morning everyone,

    Shiney,i'm sorry about your leg that sounded very painfull....wonder if you'd trapped a nerve?relieved to know it's OK now:dbgrtmb:.....Go steady:blue thumb:

    Kandy the waterfalls do look dramatic after the rains don't they?...the sight and sound of them are marvelous:wub2:

    I had a tottering morning at the Hospital with my Mum yesterday:rolleyespink:...we were there in good time for her appointment with the specialist but finally got to see one (not the one she was suposed to see) 4 hours later.....it was disgraceful.....and i made my very feelings clear:mad: others were getting irate too.....if they would only be honest instead of trying to soft soap people with ridiculus excuses....at the end of the day they had forgotton some of us and i'd rather they just that...i'd have still have been annoyed but they were just making a bad situation worse....then to be told to just go back to your GP in 6 wks and they will sort out a scan was just adding insult to injury......i understand there is always waiting time but 4 hours is not on:gaah:

    Rant over.......:phew:

      It's been a warm night here...didn't get below 18 degrees and we've had a good drop of rain too:dbgrtmb:
      I've got all the doors and windows open and it's lovely out there...my slippers are a bit damp though:biggrin:

      Shiney sorry to hear your leg was so painful and hope it is a lot better today.:smile:

      I had hip problems yesterday and in the end the pain was so bad I had to take some strong painkillers.Went to bed last night woke up this morning and it is fine:redface:

      Loli,I leave my cloggies outside and like yesterday with it raining all day by the time i found them they were all wet and soggy:snork:

      Mum,hope your little furry girl is feeling a lot better after her treatment yesterday.And you should let her be a lap dog more often as they have such a calming affect on us their slaves:biggrin:

      Woo,yes can't believe that we are in to the eighth month of the year and as I say all the best people are Leo's:yes::whistle:

      Moyra,hope you and Steve and Amber are all ok and taking it easy with the heat of the day when it gets here.

      Lili,hope you are feeling a lot better today as well.

      Anyway,hope you all have a good day and don't get to hot in the sun:whistle:

        It's 8 a.m. and already topping 70F. I've done a bit of work in the garden as it will be too hot to go out there soon. :)

        Woo, don't fly too high today as the sun is going to be quite hot and we don't want you getting into a flap. :heehee:

        I got a lot done in the garden yesterday. Cut the high laurel hedge down one side of the garden. It's about 150ft long and 10ft high. It's still 150ft long :heehee: but a lot thinner and now only 7ft high. It was hard work and a bit of a strain but I'm pleased I got it done. The hard part is at the end when I have to reel in 300ft of electric cable after having got wobbly arms from all the work :phew:. I can't pick up all the cuttings so Mrs Shiney will do that this morning. It's all going to have to go on the bonfire as there is much too much to go in the wheelie bins.

        The runnerbeans are now doing quite well and I expect to pick about 5lb today. :dbgrtmb:

          It is going to be another stinker today. The weather girl said it could be the hottest day so far. I just cannot take it I am afraid, windows open curtains drawn and fans on.

                Evening all, it is sweltering hot here even now.
                Had to go to hospital with OH today, we took four bus journeys in total ( as parking is a nightmare) and I could hardly breathe. I was so glad to get home, I think it has been the hottest day of the year!
                Hope you are all well, be careful with the flying Woo - keep plenty of fluid under your wings!

                  I'm just off to cook myself a nice dinner and then relax. Tomato soup, rack of lamb (got a lovely lean bit for £2.50), some crispy roasties and lots of runner beans. Then a very ripe, tasty mango. Yum yum! :blue thumb:

                  :phew:......What a hot night that was...it stayed at 23.9 degrees all night...........it's nice outside now though....feels much fresher at 20 degrees :blue thumb:.....Just going to water the baskets and then off to work....it's my weekend off:yahoo: and i'm not sorry about that....the heat wears you out more than the work....
