Yes WOO, I know love I was jesting but it would be nice if they could donate something to a good charity for your work. Doctors are on a good screw these days. But it is nice to think all the patients who are not get to enjoy seeing them at their best. You are a good bird!

You know what it is WOO, I hate to think anyone is taking advantage of any of my friends and that was not really what you put yourself up for when you offered to look after the rose at the front door!

Hi Moyra my friend you know what ,you are right of course,The predicaments I get myself into:ideaIPB::phew:
I remember :old: one Sunday I was walking down the A2 when a large van stopped and ask me the way to the Borstal Institution which was about 5 miles away,so I tried to explain to the driver how to get there but with my less than clear directions and his understanding of them ,we were getting nowhere ,and then I saw that there were at least 10 people in the back of the van,8 of them being little people:heehee: and he explained to me that he was going to see his son, who's wife and children were in the back of the van and it was their first visit, and they were late already,so Woo said move over and off we went ,I took them right to the front gate of the Institution, and then had a 5 walk home, thinking to myself yes Woo had done it yet again:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

        Good morning everyone:smile:

It's another sunny day here today which I shall enjoy although the weather forecast for Sunday doesn't look too promising:sad:

Loli,we can't make our minds up yet where we are going on Saturday as we need to see what the weather is doing before finally deciding on a destination:biggrin:Do you what Restoration home on the telly?Right at the end when they were walking through all the rooms I spied my Laura Ashley wallpaper we have just bought in panels on the walls so great minds think alike although ours won't be going in panels when it goes on the wall in the bedroom:cool:

Anyway, hope you all have a lovely day in all that you do either with family or friends:SUNsmile:

        Aloha everyone,

It's another very bright day and I shall get some more done in the garden.

        Woo, you're a very good-hearted person :love30: :)

I've been trying to work myself up to write up a rather complicated bridge judging decision I've had to make. I need to let the people concerned know what decision I've come to and it can be rather difficult to explain as they are not highly experienced players. I've had to try and stretch the laws of bridge to take into account their lack of experience whilst not contravening the laws myself. It's clear in my head but not easy to put on paper.

Oh well! I'd better get on with it. :heehee:

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

Oh Woo, you are an angel. Trouble is when you are so good then you can and often are taken advantage of. I know because I am not that dissimilar myself. And I know Shiney and Hannah also put themselves up but hopefully in their case they are appreciated properly for all they do. Just walked Amber and am very tired so am going to have a pizza for tea, Steve is already consuming his, and then I am going to relax a bit I hope. Do take care of yours

Well cut the grass one job done. My strimmer has broken so I need to buy a new one but I want a good one that will not keep breaking the twine. Some sort of permanent blade would be nice. Any recommendations? Now I must go out and cut the dead lilac blooms from the lilac tree make it look smarter. Then I might go mad and be really ruthless with the roses in the front as they are all over the place. Have had some fantastic blooms this year and they have weighed the branches down heavy so I really need some new strong healthy branches to shoot out and hold them all up again in future. I will see because I cannot slaughter blooms that have not finished not in my nature. Hope you are all having a good day. Now I have had my rest must go and get on again. see you all later.

            Aloha everyone,

We had a very short rain shower earlier on and the plants are loving it. :dancy: We haven't had rain for some days so it has cleared the dusty air.

As it has been so hot in the sunshine I haven't trimmed the edges of the lawns for weeks  and they have become terribly overgrown. When I cut them regularly I don't need to pick up the trimmings as they are so small. In the last couple of days I've been working on doing the edges in the front garden and only an hour at a time. I've found that the bending down to pick up the trimmings (filled three buckets :hate-shocked:) has not been good on my back so I need at least a couple of hours rest after each hour of work - but the job is getting done :)

Just all the lawns in the back garden to do now.

Mrs Shiney is getting some plants ready for the GC meet in Norfolk on Sunday. Should be a good day :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

Good morning Woo,Shiney Loli and everyone:smile:

Many thanks for my Birthday wishes.

I have been up since quiet early but have been a bit busy opening cards and prezzies:snork:Mr Kandy is on his last day of being up in Birmingham this week on a course for work so will be on my own today but at least he has managed to get home each evening and there hasn't been too much problem with the trains:biggrin:

Have got a lady coming tonight to bring back our cat carrier because her cat decided to come to our cat sanctuary[our house] after going missing for a month and I had seen his description on the net so rang the number she left and she came straight up.She was crying her eyes out{had me going as well} as she was convinced he was a goner especially with the heat we have had and neither of us know where he has been and is sister has been pining for him.Anyway look forward to seeing her again tonight:dancy:

Anyway, look after your back Shiney, thanks for the card above Woo and hope you and your family are ok Loli.

Waves to everyone else who pops in here today and have a good one:smile:
