Ah WOO, so glad the results were good but she really must rest and recuperate and I am sure that the good man you are you will insist on it.

No news this end about Tony so he is still hanging on and I suspect he will for as long as he can and Kathie is there by his side.

God bless everyone have a good evening, nightie night all. good-night-graphic-20.gif

Tony passed away around 9.30pm tonight without any pain killers apparently the drip into his arm was for hydration rather than morphine as we had understood. when he went he was in a delirium and didn't recognise my sister Kath. She had been there night and day for him for 5 days. I think it is disgusting the way he was allowed to go. It would appear they took him down for a scan today but decided he was too far gone. His youngest son hasn't got in from Canada on time and the other son told my sister that he and the family had booked a holiday and were not prepared to lose it..............would you believe such callous behaviour! My poor sister is in such a state and can you wonder at it. Sorry to burden you with this all.

WOO do hope Mrs W is feeling better tonight, God bless.

Woo, hope Mrs W is feeling much better today. Take care of her and yourself too. God bless.
Shiney, yes it is a mercy that he has gone at last, may he rest in peace now. Poor man. My poor sister is going to be lost without him after looking after him for all those years since his first stroke. But hopefully in time she will be able to get a new life.

Have a good day everyone, God bless.

                  Aloha!:wub2:

                      Aloha everyone,

A beautiful morning out there this morning maybe a little chilly but beautiful just the same.

WOO how is Mrs W this morning, I do hope she is on the mend.

Loli, it is a shame you have to work on such a lovely morning, take care love.

Shiney, I wonder what you have on the agenda for today.

Well I spoke to my sister last night on the phone and whilst her eldest two children are not offering her any comfort at least the two youngest are being very supportive. Robert was very sad that he did not get home from Canada in time, but he wants to take his mum back out there after the funeral for a holiday. Which I think will do her the world of good. She is very philosophical about the death and that he is not suffering any more.

Have a good day everyone, God bless.

                      Aloha!:wub2:

                        Aloha everyone,

It's a wonderful morning out there today

I was working on the computer until 3 a.m. emailing all the bridge clubs in three counties about a tournament I'm organising in October. I'll carry on this evening.

I was out pretty early this morning as I took Mrs Shiney and a friend up to the edge of London so they could catch an underground train. I needed to get them there for 7.30 as they had to go right across to the other end of the line for a hospital appointment at 9.30. The friend didn't want to go on her own. I'll pick them up again this afternoon.

So far this morning I've spent an hour trimming the branches of the willow as they've been dragging right down to the ground. I filled the barrow six times!!!!

Just had a break before going out to cut 200ft of privet. :phew: I'll try and get it all cut and cleared away before having to pick up Mrs Shiney.

                        Have a great day

                        Aloha!
