Have you tried using Firefox to access the site?

Your Son will get ESA for 365 days, as that is the maximum allowed. After that if he is not in a special catergory he will get nothing like me. As long as he has enough contributions they will continue to credit him NI, after the ESA stops.

My condition is called Brachial Plexus Nueropathy, I am one of the unlucky and it effects both my arms.

Along with my condition it has been a very tough time, but my renewed keenness for my garden, the love and support of my wife, family and friends has helped tremendously. I still get very low at times, but Mrs Gdnam is always there to drag me back up before I hit rock bottom.

I can work and want to work, just need someone to give me a chance to show them what I have to offer.

Steve's problem is his back two lower back vertebrae prolapse and again vertebrae at the top of his spine. He has to go to hospital this week for x.rays and blood tests, hopefully we shall then see where he goes from there.

@Gdnam .....I hadn't heard of BPN so I just googled it. You must be in an awful lot of pain.

It's really unfair that your ESA has stopped. What are people supposed to do? It makes me angry to be honest with you. There are people who are ill who really struggle and they shouldn't be penalised when they need help especially if they have paid tax all their working lives.

The pain is a lot less now than 12 months ago, but some days are worse than others. The constant pins and needles are just a distraction now as have got used to it.

At the worst back in April 2012 I could not even open a bottle of milk, even pulling my bank card out of an atm was very difficult as I had lost my grip and hardly had the strenth to pull it.

Regarding the ESA, I had to take them to a tribunal to keep it for the 12 months. They sent me to see a 'trained medical professional' at the assessment center who, in her report said that I could open a door and scratch my head so was fit to work! Nothing about the 400 miles a day I drove and the 80KG machines I had to lift and move, my Doctor and Consultant refused to declare me fit for work as I could not physically do my Job.

When I got to see the report prior to the appeal it turns out that she was just a regular nurse, with no other training in Neurological disorders than the basics. ( not her fault, but after talking to me she should have asked for a report from my Consultant).

I have worked since I left school at 16, only having 1 period of unemployment which was just for 1 month after I had been made redundant, and that was only because my new job was not starting until then.

@moyra, sorry to hear of your Steve's problems, I bet his pain is awful. I wish him well and the best of luck with the tests.

No, she didn't :heehee: as she was still fast asleep. It didn't really matter as nobody can see me - and if they did, they would fall about laughing :snork:.

The computer I'm having to use at the moment is extremely slow and it takes up to five minutes just to bring up a new thread! Nothing to do with GC, it's just at this end. So I'm not getting to post much.

I wish all of you well and have a great day.

        Aloha!

        Aloha everyone,

Well I go to pick up my sisters little Bertie today. I do hope he and Amber get on ok.

Jazmine, hope you had a good holiday.

Loli, expect it was a bit nippy out there this morning. I had to wrap myself up extra warm this morning with scarf the lot as my hair was still damp from my shower. I wanted to shower before taking Amber out rather as I would normally do have it when I get back because of going out this morning I need to get my hair dry. Time I had this lot cut off.

Shiney, sorry your back up pc is a bit sluggish. It's a pain when you are limited on how much you can type that is how I feel doing it on a notepad first.

        Steve,
        hope you are ok today!

Hope everyone else is ok, WOO, Kandy, Lili et al. Have a good day all and stay dry.

        Aloha!:wub2:

@moyra, don't forget to try and access this site, whilst at your sisters. Also could you make note of what browser and AntiVirus she is using.

        Have a great day.

Hello I am on my sisters pc now, using google chrome and antivirus is kaspersky or something similar. Looks as though this is working ok so it must be a connection between my internet and the site? Tell Zigs and see what he thinks. Better go catch up with you later. Tatta for now.

I really think it is AVG causing your issues.

As I mentioned before you could un-install and try something else. I know you have paid the subscription, but as long as you have the license code, it would be just a matter of un-installing the something else and re-installing AVG using the code and all will be well.

It is a bit of a faff, but should take no more than 30 minutes including testing.

I doubt it is your actual internet connection, as you would undoubtedly have issues with other sites.

EDIT: I have done a google and cannot find anything that is similar to your issue, if you want to pm me your system specs and ISP, I can look into this further for you. Hopefully between us all you will get a solution.
