I like custard but it's usually much too sweet when we have it in a restaurant. So I make it at home. :blue thumb: My parents used to buy the read made custard in cartons but that was so sweet it made me feel sick!

I sold loads of plums yesterday and all the windfall pears were bought as well. About 60lb of windfall Williams - some were still in good enough condition for eating and the rest are superb for cooking.

    Morning everyone!!

Its a sunny morning here, and no frost overnight, thankfully.

No change at Natalie's Dr's appointment, as the Dr said, he's just hanging out, heads not even engaged, so she goes back next Tuesday.

I'm off to Toronto shortly, have a few stops for Brad, and then get back to town, just in case!!

Kait wants to come home this weekend, so I guess we're heading down tomorrow night to get her
for the weekend, so its going to be a busy weekend for us, but what else is new (lol)!!

Off to get dressed and go get some gas in the truck , so enjoy your day everyone,

Hi all, the plums sound good Shiney. Our art therapist teacher bought some in (from her tree) and they tasted so much better than shop bought.
We went away for a few days and I am hardly at home these days, partly thanks to my bus pass.
I hope you are all well.

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Loli, so you have an infiltrator eh, you'll not get many eggs from that one.

No work today, but as the weather seems as though it will be quite pleasant, I'll get some stuff done in the garden.

        Have a great day everyone.

        Aloha everyone,

The sun is shining brilliantly so I had better get my back in gear and corry on pressure washing. I'm about a third of the way through it and the area I've done makes the rest look even dirtier! I was just looking through some old pics and came across one where the paving was still stacked up. He was just about to break into the next pallet as he'd already used three pallets. I didn't realise how much there was!!! :hate-shocked:
        251_5172.JPG

I also came across a pic of the current Mr Pheasant's grandparent as a chick

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

          Morning everyone,

Its another cool morning here, but no frost so thats fine with me...still trying to get the last of my peppers and tomatoes, so no frost please!!

I have some errands to do in town, and then around 2 Brad is leaving work, showering and then we're heading down to get Kait for the weekend, but her boyfriend is taking her back on Sunday, so that saves us a trip.

No baby yet, Natalie feels good but nothing yet.

Plan on stopping at the pumpkin patch today and getting some pumpkins and gourds for outside, already have my bale of hay.

          Enjoy your day everyone.

Loli, all girls are unsettled when there is a good looking boy about, and I think the jumping on them, may just prove a point :catapult:

moyra, glad you are feeling better sweetie.

It's been a lovely day here Woo, pity I have had to spend most of it indoors, so many forms and paper work for this that and t'other. Did enjoy the odd coffee on the decking though.

Shiney, even I might shirk at lifting that lot in a day. :chicken:

In case you haven't visited the 'What are you doing in the garden' thread, I have had some good news, I am from Monday going to work for a company 3 days a week minimum, still agency, but have been told that most weeks should be 5 days, and when it's not I am NUMERO UNO, for any work that comes in for those days. It seems the companies I have worked for, now ring up requesting me by name...... :dbgrtmb:

Enjoy the rest of the day.

            Afternoon all,
Just finished my duck egg and soldiers. I also had queen olives with lemon and coriander, yum, oh, and a pack of chilli/sour cream crisps.

We had a bit of fog this morning, but it has all cleared up now. Quite a bright afternoon ahead, so I shall be in the kitchen all afternoon peeling pickling onions looking out of the window, keeping an eye on the goings on from over the hedge.

            Feel a bit better today.

Hope you'all have a good afternoon, ya'll hear.
