Morning all, cold, wet and very windy here this morning.

Hope you get your problems sorted Woo, and hope Mrs woo is feeling better soon.

    Have a great weekend Penny.

@Kandy and @Loli , that happened here in my home town. Reports say that his wallet, bank card were missing. http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/n...for-murdered-jamie-s-missing-wallet-1-5561923

Picking our Aunt Lil up from Luton airport this morning and then a shopping trip with her, the OH and MiL, to MK on the way back.

Hope the weather does not put you all off having a super weekend. Take care, keep warm and dry.

            Morning all,

Aunty Lil has been safely transported to Northampton from Luton Airport, with a shopping trip to MK already under her belt too.

She and the MiL, joined us at our friends house last night for nibbles and drinks  and good night was had by all.

Good luck for the tourney today Shiney, hope the power stays on, but you do have a supply of Candles I presume :heehee:

@Loli , you'll soon have the greenhouse whipped into shape, of that I am sure. Just be sure to take your waders, as with all this rain you could well need them to get back to the house !

Have a great day everyone, keep dry and warm.

              Aloha everyone,

Woo, please send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Mrs Woo :grphg: :wub2:

Well, that was a busy time! Our friend the actress stayed in the summerhouse for two weeks for the run of her show. It must be a fairly lonely time if you're in theatre and touring all the time, so she found it quite relaxing having a nice place to herself instead of being in digs (and we pampered her :)). Sarafi must have sensed it as well because he went in to sit with her whenever she turned up :cat-kittyandsmiley: - a very unusual thing for him to do.

On Saturday we were up in the big city on an art tour that I had arranged with my cousin. This was one of the tours we arrange once or twice a year for our family and a few friends. We went to the Courtauld Gallery in Somerset House and his tour and talk was extremely interesting. His talks bring everything to life with him not only describing and explaning the paintings but the history of them, the artists, their families and scandals and the history of what was going on at the time. It puts everything in perspective and doesn't leave me looking at a picture and just saying to myself 'that painting looks nice'!

Afterwards, eighteen of us went to a lovely Turkish restaurant by Covent Garden, that I had booked. It was excellent food and a substantial two course lunch was only £10.95.

The tournament went well yesterday, no power cuts, got the hall all cleared and tidy, went off to the Indian (we were their last customers of the day) and I've just finished all the paperwork and sent the results to all the competitors.

So now it's time for a nice cuppa and, with a bit of luck, an hour's kip in the armchair.

We've got friends coming round for lunch so I've got plenty of time to have a nice long hot shower, do a bit in the garden and then get lunch sorted. I think a lovely roast will go down nicely. :blue thumb:

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

Naw!! Too much to do :heehee:

I got a nice 30 minutes of shuteye. That should do me for another 24 hours :blue thumb:. I've done the washing and loaded it all into the tumble dryer. I shall wake Mrs Shiney about 8.30 with a nice cuppa. In the meanwhile, I'll have a cuppa and watch the international news for a while.

                Keep well

                        Morning everyone,

Its a holiday Monday for us here, since its our Thanksgiving, we've had a busy weekend, so today is a work around the house day, although we did plant 8 cedar tree's across the back in the raised planter box. We plan on bringing home the snow blower's and Brad is going to do the maintenance on the furnace and turn it on, supposed to get really cool here this week, especially at night.

Kaits gone to the BF's house for an early dinner and he's driving her back to school, which saves us a trip, and Natalie and Dan are spending the day with Dan's parents since they leave tomorrow, and wont be back until next August.

While we are at the shop, I need to check on all the plants that we took up on Saturday, planning to over winter them, see if they need watering.

Anyhow....my breakfast is ready, so I'm off......enjoy your day everyone.
