    Sarafi seems quite happy in the rain. He's sleeping in the greenhouse at the moment but quite often wanders around in the rain.

      It looks too squelchy in the garden to do much but I might have a go at doing more pressure washing if the rain stays off - not much chance of that according to the forecast!

      Hope everyone is OK:dbgrtmb:

      It's one of those mornings where even though it's not raining it might as well be....it's very damp out there and you get wet regardless....i think we are all in for some rain at some point today....

      There isn't a great deal i can do in the garden just now....the plants are looking a bit sorry for themselves but not yet dying back enough to give them a haircut and some of them like the Astilbes are putting out quite a bit of new growth:doh:

      The freezer went haywire because Mrs Shiney accidentally didn't close the door properly :sad:. It wasn't noticed until it had totally messed up the system. We've got to defrost it for 48 hours!

      She can't mail order her glassware. The post office and almost all the courier companies won't take glass. The one that will do so charges an arm and a leg.

      Hi everyone Mrs Woo is in bed most of the time,and my daughter is going through a rough patch ;The Dyson hoover refuses to work so I have to get a new hoover,but you can't keep a good Owl down:heehee::blue thumb:

        Morning everyone,:SUNsmile:

        Its cold and raining here, supposed to get some flurries Wednesday and Thursday this week.....greaaat!!

        We had a busy weekend, but we got lots of baby time in, and they came for supper last night, so that works for me.

        Started some Christmas shopping on the weekend, just a couple things but its a start none the less.

        I'm off to Toronto shortly, so I need to go and get ready and get some gas before I go......so enjoy your day everyone

        Shiney...yes i can imagine the problems with sending glassware....they really are beautiful pieces it would be terrible if there was a 'mishap'....

        The rain is well and truly lashing down here...the waterbutts are once again full to overflowing and my poor chooks look like they need wringing out......:doh::chicken:

          WOO, have you pushed the reset red button on the side of the Dyson brush? Mine stopped and I phoned them up and I was told the same thing. Try it.

              It's raining, no surprise there then.

              @moyra , as long as I don't over do it my arms have been fine. Thankfully the lifting I have to do is not so heavy, and I get help with anything that is. Thank you for your concern.

              It's dry out at the moment but they forecast lots of rain.

              I'm in the process of looking at a few more out of the way places to try and visit whilst the old bones can still make it. Long haul flights and lugging cases around are getting a bit much for us:old: There are a few places in S. America that I haven't been to yet so I'm checking into who I know in Uruguay at the moment :heehee:. Someone else to just drop into when we're passing :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

              We're also looking at, possibly, having a Mrs Shiney's family reunion in Canada. We have twelve of us interested at the moment. Only four of us live in Europe!
