You are right about that wind @Lolimac , My blow away, blew away about 4.30 yesterday, the base is still firmly anchored to the ground though , thankfully only a few seedlings lost.

We have just finished dinner and are having a little sit down to let it go down before we start doing other things

Went out earlier to hang some washing out as it is quiet windy here and just as I started rain came on so have had to abandon that idea although the sun is out now

Moyra...I think Theo is now starting to get a bit scared of the fireworks...he seemed a bit jittery last night,it's not so much the bangs it's those crackling ones he doesn't like...They have both been fine up to now but this happend with my other dog...the first 3 or 4 years he was fine but then after that he became more nervous....Glad Amber is OK with them

Hope all the puddy cats are OK with the fireworks

It's a frosty start here,all the birds have been fed and watered so they're happy

Glad to hear that everyone is on the mend and starting to feel better,although this damp weather doesn't help when you feel under the weather so to speak

Mr Kandy has gone off to work so I am catching up the ironing I should have done over the weekend but couldn't be bothered so will crack on today.Oh and the sun is shining which will help me feel a bit more like doing things

Loli That happening with Theo is not unusual I have known other dogs who were originally NOT bothered get to dread them as they got older.

Hi Moyra,Poppy doesn't like fireworks and neither does Davina{the cat that adopted us}so will make sure they are both indoors tomorrow when they start.The village has their firework display at the weekend and we are not going as we would rather stay at home and give them lots of fuss while having the telly up louder than usual.If they hear anything they normally go behind either the sofa or one of the armchairs until they feel safe enough to come out but usually are pretty good.When we had Tina dog she used to get in a right old state with panting and her eyes were out on stalks.When she got elderly she went deafish so the fireworks were no problem but if you sneezed she would run a mile

Hope everyones furries are ok this week and that there are no problems with them

Had a good day yesterday and caught up on quiet a few jobs and got a nice lot of washing dry outside in the breeze

Rang my friend whos hubby passed away last week to find out the funeral plans and to give her support.

Don't forget to give the furries a big hug tonight and lets hope it rains quiet a bit so that not many fireworks are let off
