    Aloha everyone,

Just a light covering here as well. Sun is coming out and should be a nice bright day.

Throat and back of tongue sore but otherwise very much improved. Can't talk properly - so there's a smile on Mrs S's face :heehee:

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

      Aloha everyone!

Oh Shiney what are we to do with you. Throat and tongue, no oily rags are going to help there! Get better soon.

We had a bit of rain in the evening and then it froze again so we still have some frozen snow around unfortunately. Oh well should soon go I understand it is going to get warmer. yippee!

Have a good day all and stay safe and warm.

      Aloha!:wub2:

      Good morning loli, and everyone:smile:

Sorry to hear about your throat problems Shiney and hope that you soon feel better soon.Nothing worse than a bad throat and being unable to chatter. At leats on here you can do your talking through your fingers:biggrin:

Loli,I expect our back garden will be underwater as well as we are on heavy clay and the water lays in puddles if we get enough of it.:snork: Hope the dogs and chooks don't cause too much of a problem with it though:doggieshmooze: Love your chook laying it's egg and you must be snowed{scuse pun}under with them now:biggrin:

We had a really good although slippy round part of our local large stretch of water yesterday afternoon and managed four miles and was pleased to see a Kingfisher three times on the walk:yay: My ankles though are soooo painful this morning though, right in the bones and my fingers are swollen as well:eeew:

I shouldn't have taken the beef joint out of the freezer yesterday as the Australians mens tennis final starts at 8.30am so will be running backwards and forwards getting everything cooked as we prefere to eat our main meal at lunchtime as opposed to the evening:biggrin: Would love Andy to win but I expect it will be Djokovic who wins it in the end:snork:

Hope everyone else is ok and that you all have a good day.

      Aloha everyone,

I'm still improving :blue thumb: and will be out from late morning until late night playing in the semi-final of a big bridge tournament.I think that well over 100 people have qualified for the semi and this number has to be reduced to 48 for the final. They are all tough competition so I shall have brain ache by tonight. :heehee:

Kandy, sorry to hear you're having more trouble with your joints and I wish you lots better. :wub2:

All the snow has now been washed away but it isn't raining at the moment.

It'll soon be spring with lots of flowers popping their heads up :dancy:

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

        Aloha Everyone.

Everywhere flooded this morning still it washed the snow away. Good to see that gone. Shiney take care of that throat of yours today. Hope you do well in the Bridge.

Loli your lawn must be in a state with the chooks and the dogs on it. We built a palisade fence round our patio with a gate and so when it is wet Amber is confined to the patio and not allowed on the lawn because it soon becomes a quagmire otherwise.

Kandy, sorry to hear your ankles are bad again, hope they are better soon. I have bought leg warmers for my poor legs and ankles and they do help!

No WOO this morning hope he is ok. Take care everyone and stay safe and warm and have a good day all.

        Aloha!:wub2:

        Aloha everyone,
What a nice sunny day, shame about the wind, terrible storm last night, made Fred jump out of his skin when the thunder and lightening came.

Had a busy morning in the garage, bit of clearing up and repotting my sweet peas, even found my hubbies tape measure that he sot over 6 months ago !

Hope everyone gets better, and that the weather improves so that things dry out. ;)

            Morning All,

Well a dry day so far, hope it stays that way.

Not doing much today, make a couple of pies for the freezer, and finish the butternut squash soup today, with fresh sausage rolls, yum, can't wait.

More knitting to do, unpicked a cardigan, and once I unravelled it all, I got 14 balls of wool, going to reknit it into a jumper for me.

so trying out my double ended needles, making a hat, going well so far. Going to get everything sorted for my first table top sale of the year,

Glad to hear some of you are on the mend, get well soon all the other poorly people.;)

            Good morning everyone,

Its crappy here, we're supposed to get freezing rain the next couple of days, and then the temperatures drop way back down....great!!

We had a busy weekend, we brought Kait home on Friday and took her back yesterday, and did all her grocery shopping, so she's all set until she comes home for reading week mid February.

I'm home today, nit driving anywhere when its like it is out there, so I'll be cleaning.

            Have a great day all.
