Shiney, how are things with you now?

I am pleased to say that apart from a nasty chesty cough I am much better. Got another lunch out this week. Yesterday's was lovely but I didn't have an appetite to enjoy the food unfortunately but the company was lovely. There were 10 of us. 8 ladies and 2 men.
Amber is going out with her new boyfriend this afternoon an 18month old chocolate Labrador. That will help her lose weight. Anyway have a lovely afternoon everyone, God bless.

This year i'm off Christmas day and Boxing day, the first time in years i've had both days off so looking forward to doing nothing,well apart from cooking and eating

By 'eck it's a chilly one out there this morning....that wind is bitter,even the dogs didn't want to linger out there too long....it certainly wakes you up though....

Pleased to say I am improving day by day. Off to lunch again tomorrow to a Carvery just outside Wickford so am hoping my appetite will be fully recovered.

Morning everyone,

Its not as cold here today, thank god, and we just had a dusting of snow overnight, although Brad and I had to snow blow again lastnight....well me, I shovelled since my own snow blower isn't back from the repair shop yet LOL!!

I was supposed to head back down to Toronto again today, but only half the parts are ready, so I'll be heading down again tomorrow instead, and that'll be my last trip until the new year, although I do have some deliveries in some other cities today, tomorrow and Friday.

Brad and I are hoping to finish Christmas shopping tonight, if we drive to Barrie, need to get some gift certificates to Red Lobster for some friends and family.

Off to get some more coffee.........so enjoy your day everyone.

Had a bad night coughing my heart up but discovered I had some Benelyn in the cupboard and that seems to have helped stop the cough. Steve thinks I shouldn't drive in case I get another fit of coughing but I think it is always worse when you are trying to lie down and sleep.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes and I am hoping I will enjoy this lunch today.

By jiminy it's a cold and frosty one his morning...Brrrrrr but it's a lovely moonlit one all the same.....i just found some sad looking baking apples that i'd forgotten about so i've just put them on the bird table for when Mr and Mrs Blackbird get up for breakfast......Mr Foxy has just wandered by too on his way way home....

I've the weekend off after today,not sorry about that....i've plenty of things to catch up with...

Morning everyone,

Its snowing pretty good here at the moment, and its supposed to change to freezing rain later. I was supposed to go down to Toronto again today around lunch time, but that's now on Monday.

I have my manicure appointment at 9, and I'm taking Daniel with me, since both Kait and Natalie have a hair appointment at my hair dressers, they wanted highlights, so that's part of their Christmas gift. They both go after lunch for manicures at Linda's, so it looks like its a Daniel and Grama day.

Brad and I do need to drive over to Barrie early tomorrow morning, we want to get to the Disney store, and Red Lobster, then we're taking Daniel in the afternoon to good friends of ours house, for drinks and snacks.

We also need to snow blow at some point, I did get my snow blower back from the repair shop, it was a something to do with the gas line, it was under warranty still, so that was good.
