    Aloha Everyone,

Reciprocated Valentines greetings to you WOO and Shiney, Lovely rose WOO!:doggieshmooze:

Yuk it is so muddy and wet out there this morning, no fun walking Amber at all all her lovely white and cream fur all black spotted with mud. Certainly needed her rub down this morning. That reminds me must put her towel into the wash!

Hope everyones, legs and feet and backs and hips are all ok today. Waving madly to Kandy, Jazmine, Lili and Mum et al, hope you are all well today. Have a good day all.

    Aloha!:wub2:

    Morning everyone,

Its a nice day here, when i was outside earlier, i can hear the birds chirping away....so nice to hear that!!

I'm off at 9 for a manicure and pedicure, then need to go to the bank and do some grocery shopping, i went to Toronto yesterday so no need to go today.

Tomorrow we are getting Kait at university, its her reading week, so she'll come home and do some snowboarding.

Happy Valentines Day everyone, and enjoy your day!!

Good morning, Loli, Woo, shiney, Moyra, Penny and all who follow.

Mums-Land is soggy today too; but (!) the sun came out just after lunchtime :dancy: so, it was off to the (flat under foot) woods with Ozzy, but only the short route.

woo - you romantic you  that is a beautiful Valentine rose and (as it's the only one I'm getting) I love it! :wub2:

shiney - thank you for the Valentine wishes; and especially for the link.
My shins aren't in any pain today, but I did have a shorter, more gentle walk with Ozzy today and so far, so good.

Moyra - can totally empathise with the muddy walking! :heehee: Ozzy's towel needs washing every other day!

Penny - your post made me chuckle: "Kait's ... reading week ... so home and doing some ... snowboarding " :heehee:

When I was walking in the woods, I came across a man that I've maybe had a "hail fellow well met" meeting maybe ... half a dozen times? Don't ask me how, but he managed to throw "baby doll nightie" into the conversation :roflol: Do you think he was flirting with me? This St V bloke has a lot to answer for (but gets none of the profits).

Hoping you are all being shown a little extra special attention today to raise your spirits and remind you how precious you are.

    Miles of smiles
    xMx

      Hi everyone,

Happy belated Valentine Day, hope you all got something nice, just eaten a lovely Lamb Rogan Josh, followed by Passion Fruit cheesecake, just scrummy.

Busy with repotting today, as it was a warmer in the garage.

Tomorrow is monthly doctor's visit, it comes round so quick, just hope it goes well.

Thank you Woo for the lovely rose, just wish we could have smelly computer. I bet it would smell lovely.

Take care everyone, catch up tomorrow.

      Valentine kisses.:wub2:

Yes Loli, WOO and Shiney were the only valentine wishes in my day! Oh how sad am I. I did moan to Steve about having to climb over the pile of cards in the hallway for him. Joke! We are our only loves on Valentines Day. The love for her son and him for his mother, terribly sad! But he is already planning his 50th birthday with his old school mate who has his birthday about the same time so there is to be one big joint 50th birthday party on the lst of June. Better start saving my pennies. Night night all. God bless.

Hey, that feels better, I have kicked myself up the bum and got and changed the sheets on the beds and hoovered throughout and dusted and polished and now I feel better. All I have to do is get three loads of washing done and out on the line to dry before the sun disappears. Why do we wake up some mornings and feel so blue. I know I have been worrying about getting an e-mail to Andy my cousin to see how he is fairing and I am scared to do it in case it is bad news. But it has to be done. Catch you all later , take care all and have a good day.

            Aloha everyone,

Very brief today. We had lots of powercuts yesterday and the first one cut out, then in again and then out again, all within a second. It seems to have got past my surge protection and made my computer very poorly. It's having trouble finding its boots (it said something like that :heehee:) so it has had to go to hospital. The surgeon has left me with one of its laptop type relations but it must have a low IQ as it's very slow. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Our power was off for four hours yesterday (not too bad for us as we were out at our clubs in the evening) and then off again for three hours this morning.

It has been a nice sunny day and I got a little bit of work done in the garden.

            Have a great day

            Aloha!

              Good afternoon, my favourite forum.

Moyra - if it's any consolation, I didn't get anything Valentine related from Mr Mum; but, I did get a Valentine message from my son (who is on a Spanish exchange trip) :) Glad to hear you are feeling better as the day progresses. PS: send the email!

Loli - I walked Ozzy yesterday, but took today off. So, it's walk-day/off-day at the moment :heehee:

Woo - sorry, but your post made me chuckle! Hope your head isn't suffering (I've got a friend who has some vinegar and brown paper if you need it? ) ;)

Shiney - Hope the PC Dr charges mates rates; these things can be a little pricey if it's anything major. Sorry to hear your power has taken to doing the Hokey Cokey, hopefully it's all settling down ... just in time for tonights Asteroid to disrupt things :th scifD36:

Had a lovely email from son's host mother today (she doesn't speak English and had her son write it) and I sent her a reply this afternoon (I don't speak Spanish, so had my youngest son write it). Son sends me emails each day and he's having an absolute blast; well worth the investment as this should really help with his A level oral later in the year.

Garden wise, it's still too muddy and soggy to do much, but I was delighted to see the hyacinths I planted last year are pushing their way through :dancy: Plus, I had a mystery shrub I posted about last year which remained a 'mystery'. But, I planted it next to a forsythia and .... guess what? ... looks like it is also a forsythia  :roflol: So, I think that will need transplanting later this year

Wishing you all miles of smiles

                  Aloha everyone,

With a bit of luck I hope to get my 'puter back today. I've decided that I don't like laptops very much. Although this one is now working fairly fast I'm not keen on the keyboard and don't like position of where the keys are. Also, the distance of the screen doesn't suit my glasses! Apart from that, it's OK. :heehee:

I hope to get some more edging done today. I've been working on the edging around the stepping stones. There are only seven of them but I find them the most awkward, from a bending point of view. I'll finish them today and start on the edges of another lawn.

I'll see whether the ground around the fruit trees has dried up enough for me to collect all the prunings so that I can stack them on the bonfire - if there's room for them. It was too soggy for me to walk backwards and forwards to the bonfire. It would have gotten too muddy and damaged the wildflowers.

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Aloha everyone,

Yes Mum I did get the e-mail written and got a nice reply saying he is going back onto medication and is doing ok. I told he is amazing. Certainly defying the doctors.

Shiney, you are getting on well with the garden then and coping quite well on the lappie.

                    Morning WOO, hope your well.

Loli, hope your ribs are ok this morning.

Take care everyone and have a good day. Stay safe and warm.
