Morning everyone,

Its cold here, and we had some snow yesturday, was supposed to go down to Toronto yesterday, but am going today after my manicure.

I have this darn cold thats been hanging around, and i finally had to break out the Buckleys, and havent coughed now in almost an hour, where as before i was coughing all the time!!

Anyhow, off to have some breakfast, and off to my manicure.....so have a great day all.

Loli, I am glad you are finally going to rest those ribs of yours. Having said that it proves just how much pain and discomfort you must be in to finally get you to do so.

Its cold and blustery here ...glad i went to Toronto yesterday, because of the roads here, some are closed due to blowing snow.

I'm home today, but need to do some grocery shopping, and have a couple errands.

Been a bit awol this week as i have been spending quality time with Mr Kandy and since he went back to work yesterday have been getting caught up with all the usual jobs that comes with being married and living in a house with a man and pets
Loli,sorry to read about your rib problem and it sounds quiet painful.I do hope the meds and rest help and that you start to feel better soon and please go careful if you try to do walks with the furries

Moyra,how are you getting on at the moment,are you still in a lot of pain with your arthritis etc?If Steve could give up the smoking it would be beneficial to both of you.My friends husband smoked for over 40 years and is now on an oxygen bottle for 15 hours a day and needs a zimmer frame to get around and if he walks faster than a snails pace he nearly collapses from exhaustion.The vet reckons that our Willows problems might be due to the fact that Mr Kandy was a heavy smoker and now the cats lungs are done in

Anyway we are doing well at the moment keeping away from the supermarkets and are determined not to keep going until we have eaten what we have in our cupboards and freezers so up to yet haven't been since December 22nd

Another good season of IRT to watch Kandy....not sure hat season you are on but if it has 3 new drivers named Darryl, Austin and Porkchop, then its the season that just finished here.

 

Shiney, it appears the sun got as far as Galleywood but it didn't emerge here unfortunately. I find that hard to believe that you can have sunshine there and as close as Galleywood but not as south as this. Very disappointed!

Kandy my knees and legs have been particularly bad today and I had to cut Amber's walks down from three to two as I just found it too hard to walk any distance today. I think you could be right about Steve's smoking although he only smokes in his room I smell it right through in my bedroom the other end of the flat. I hate it but I know how difficult it is to pack up having been there myself. Ironically I gave up smoking when he moved back into the house some 12 years ago.

Moyra looks like our furries are going to have to bear with us for a while untill we are back on track i went for a walk along the Humber yesterday but the dogs had to stay home... there is no way i can walk them at the moment as one false move and i'll know about it.....saying that... at 3am this morning Archi came to say hello to me by jumping ontop of me....all 5 1/5 stone of him ......i'm glad the neighbours are away as it was difficult to say ouch quietly .....
Still a little gloomy out there but mild,the ground is still saturated but no rain forecast for a few days

Ah Loli you and I posted at the same time. I know Amber does that to me too and you cannot help but yell out. Poor you I can imagine that hurt! Take care of yourself.

 

I am surprised to see how mild the temperature is/everytime I go out I realize I am always dressed too much.
