    Hello, good evening and welcome.:)
This house is like a hotel, little one staying overnight, son here for tea but I love it.
Hope those feeling under the weather improve soon.
It was a lovely day here so I got outside and started sorting out the garden. It will take me ages!
Shiney do we need an ID card to get into your garden or will my bus pass do? :snork:

Aloha everyone, It looks as though it will be a nice day :dbgrtmb:

Kandy, they obviously don't know what a Cockney sounds like . Your accent is nothing like it :heehee:

Woo, Shineyland is a totally independent state. Oscar made the rule that the pound would be our local currency, but we do have a good rate of exchange for other currencies. :blue thumb:

Jazmine, as you know, Oscar was our border guard and he checked everyone - but, now, all we require for Open Day is a small round coin with the Queen's head on it. Our door guard will check that it's the right coin. :dbgrtmb:

I've got a couple of meetings here this morning so I suppose I had better get ready for them.

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

            Morning everyone,

Its cold here and just a little dusting of snow overnight.....come on Spring!!

We had a busy weekend, so today is my "catch up" day, and have a few errands to do.

            Enjoy your day everyone.

              Aloha everyone,

Been feeling sorry for myself all day, woke up with a pain down the right side of my head/neck.

Took painkillers all day, still aching, I know the problem, I have degeneration of bones at top of spine, usually do not give me too much gip, but every now and again it throws up its nasty little head, and it makes me miserable.

Been out in the sunshine to take my mind off things, picked spinach for dinner, it was quite pleasant. Perhaps I will try to shake off the cobwebs on Tuesday, and sort out some things in the garden.

              Take care one and all.:wub2:

Oh Lili, I empathise with you. I also suffer with degeneration of the spine at my neck level and also at my base level. It's no fun. Today I have spoilt myself and bought off the internet after surveying them locally a Rollater. Do you know locally they charge 100% mark up on the internet prices. When my friends came over from Kent yesterday the husband brought in my friends rollator for me to test and it was brilliant so today I visited two local disability aid shops and they were for the same model all 100% up on their prices. So I came back and ordered one from the net. Cannot wait for it to be delivered now.

Watch out for this lady with her Aide when she visits you in May Shiney!!

                    Aloha everyone,

Woo, what a lovely photo. :dbgrtmb:

I wish all of you, that are not feeling too good, lots better. :blue thumb:

Moyra, I hope you will have learnt to drive it properly by then :heehee:

We got a lot more done in the garden yesterday. Although it was frosty in the morning, by afternoon it felt quite nice working in the sunshine. We want to shorten the laurel and we started on it before deciding that it's just too much for us to do. Also, we reckon it would need at least ten of our big bonfires to burn it all. Just carrying all the cut stuff from the front right down to the bonfire area would be too much work! So I've got a couple of people coming round to quote for it.

Today has started off very frosty again but the sun is coming up.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

                        Morning all :)

My focus is on indoors and Spring cleaning. We have the exchange student arriving on Sunday and I'd like everything to be just right. Strange that they've arranged it so they arrive on Mothering Sunday (tactless, I say :heehee: ) but I think Mr Mum is making arrangements so I don't have to cook.

If I meet today's cleaning targets, I need to pot up the clematis I bought the other week. They'll stay in pots this year and, if successful, I'll put them into beds next year. But, before any of that, I need to get Ozzy out and about to practise our lead work and give him some stimulation :doggieshmooze:

Get well wishes to all who are under par :grphg:

Woo, beautiful photo of a beautiful morning :dbgrtmb:

shiney, the countdown is on for your open day and seems to be much in people's thoughts. Can't wait! :dbgrtmb:

WOO what a beautiful sunrise and it is a beautiful day too.

Loli, hope you feel much better soon that sure is hanging on.

Shiney, that sounds like a job and a half that laurel. So they will cut it back and dispose of the cuttings. That will save you a heck of a lot of work.

Well everyone that is suffering look after yourselves and take care and have a good day everyone.

                          Aloha!:wub2:
