Hello everyone, just read back to catch up - Woo that is a lovely photo as always.
Today I had my first hours hospital appointment and I have been shown how to do this at home. I hope it all helps - she did say I would be in trouble if I didn't wear these compression stockings and are reviewing what would be best for me.
Looking forward to Shineys do - it will soon be here!

Good morning everyone. It looks like there will a good turn out for GC members at this years show. Are we all coming on the saturday or sunday. Myself I think I would prefer Sunday but will go along with the majority of members who are coming to Shineyland.

After a fabulous day weatherwise yesterday, today is overcast (again!). It's not bothering the local wood pigeons, they've just been having a group bath in my pond

Penny, hope you got your taxes sorted out - sounds very dull to me, but it's probably a necessary evil for you. I have home accounts to do today and normally I quite enjoy it, but my heart isn't in it today, so it will be a trudge.

I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone at Shineyland slight complications with my leave from work but i've got round that one it will be great to see Shineys garden in the 'flesh' so to speak,the pics have always looked great but to be able to wander around it ....in the SUNSHINE will be a real treat

It's a damp but mild day here so won't be outside in it as i'm STILL trying to shake off this cold....it's turned into a right stinker i'm going to make a big pan of Fennel and Celeriac soup and a loaf as i don't fancy anything more substantial.....

The sun's out here, its so nice to see the sun instead of overcast skies, for a change!!

Not sure if i am in Toronto today or not, just waiting to hear if the parts are done, if not then I'll be going down tomorrow.

I have a couple things i need to do today, as well as popping into the grocery store.

Well it looks like it will be Saturday for Shineyland then. Hope Steve is going to be home to look after Amber as I can only leave her a couple or three hours on her own.

Received my new Rollator. It arrived all in pieces and I had to put it all together. The instructions were not that brilliant but I managed and then took it for a walk with Amber. She was good and walked alongside it without any trouble and half way through her walk I was able to rest and sit down on it while she had a run around the green and then we walked back and took in the other green as well so it worked well. Really chuffed with it.

Re: shineyland - could you let Steve know *now* so that he can arrange to be there for Amber?

 

I am not sure of the dates and it is around the time of his 50th birthday so I am just praying there is no clashing of dates. I am off to the Goodnight thread now as is my wont as I am going to pull the plug in a little while.
