    Good morning everyone,

Sorry Shiney:oops: ......get dosed up and keep warm, hope you feel better soon:dbgrtmb:

Spring can't be far away, the birds are all busy here.....there's a couple of Blackbirds flying in and out of the ivy and the straw i mulched the rhubarb with is disapearing fast thanks to the Stoggies.....

The garden is waterlogged again after the down pour last night:gaah: but it has stopped raining for now so just might get the odd job done out there today:blue thumb:

    Wishing everyone well,take care:SUNsmile:

Morning all - damp and wet here too. Pleased really as I am helping with a WI lunch at one of the nearby villages in about 1 hours time and I would have felt well cheated by the weather if it was reasonable 'get out there and get some jobs done'. I suppose there's always hope for tomorrow - or maybe not.

        Aloha everyone,

I took Amber out in that this morning, it is ghastley out there. Rain and a blustery wind whips the wet all round you. Even Amber didn't want to stay out there long this morning. Hope if you are going out in it you wrap up warm. Shiney I too have got the sneezes, runny nose and a cough this morning so it is doing the rounds.

Nice to see you on here Granny Annie uou must join us again. I wouldn't bank on tomorrow being any better I'm afraid.

WOO hope you are ok dear! Waves to Kandy, Penny et al who frequent this thread. Have a good day despite the weather.

Good evening all, what a day! I don't suppose many of you had much chance of doing any gardening today. My lawn is like a quagmire again! Take care and have a good evening all. I am off to the Goodnight thread. Night night all. :)

Good morning everyone from my snowy part of the country:biggrin:

Sorry to hear about your cold Shiney,at least it isn't the Dengue virus that has laid you low, down in your part of the world.Hope you feel better soon and looking forward to seeing those photos:wub2:

Loli, sorry to hear about your lawn and hope that like ours it starts to dry out when we eventually get some more sunshine, but there is talk so i have heard that we are due for a white Easter so will see:eeew:

Moyra,it has been too cold with that east wind to even think about gardening apart from watering the greenhouse plants and we still havn't got to the allotment to see if the manure got delivered to the right plots:gaah:

Grannie,I struggle to get through all the posts on here as it takes me long enough to type out a post on this section without worrying about other parts of the forum:snork: Glad to hear you are active with your local WI where you live:smile:

Hope that Woo,Jazmine,Penny and everyone else are ok and not getting too much bad weather...

We went in to town and had our hair cut yesterday morning and then in the afternoon drove to the local garden center and got our seed spuds and veggie seeds plus was naughty and bought two wooden bench seats that were pre painted but had to go home and get the bigger car as we had gone there in my little Ka and they wouldn't fit in the back so needed the other car.Mr Kandy assembled them last evening and they look good in the sun room,so now just need to get some nice cushions to go with them:biggrin:

Hope you all have a good day in all that you do:smile:

              Aloha everyone,

Kandy, hope you find some nice cushions to go on your new bench seats in your sun room.

Shiney and Loli, hope your colds are on the mend and WOO wonder if you too have caught a cold going out in all weathers to get some photo, nice as they are not good at the expense of your health. But then I am only assuming it is the reason for your absence from the thread. Do take care everyone and get well soon.

Have a good day all and a Happy St. Patrick's Day too!

              Aloha!:wub2:

              Aloha everyone,

Jazmine, I hope things are better for you soon. :blue thumb:

We've had a pretty good week, weatherwise. One day wet, one day cloudy and a half day of drizzle and the rest has been warm and sunny. We were very lucky as they had 10 days of rain and storms before we arrived. The wind reached 100mph - so they said. When I get around to sorting the photos I'll post some. It's surprising how many plants are in bloom despite it only being the end of winter. We even saw some aquilegia in bloom in a sheltered spot!

My cold got really bad yesterday and I had to spend most of it in bed. :sick0026: And my cough is back!

              Keep well, everyone

              Aloha!

Jazmine, sorry to hear you have had a traumatic week, hope things improve soon, Kandy that the trouble when you start to furnish a room it can run away with the cash. I expect the sun room will look quite nice now you have down quite a bit.
Loli, I do hope you are not overdoing things and do not want you to put things back with your health. Shiney sounds as though you need another rub down with an oily rag too. Do all take care of yourselves.

                Hi All

Hope all of you are well - (Shiney and Moyra hope you are both feeling better. Take care Lolimac working in the rain - how long did it take you to shift that lot? We do all keep ourselves busy with various projects etc. don't we.

Busy day for me - 8.00 I was sowing some varieties of seeds - and for about 10 mins sat admiring my sweet peas that I sowed last autumn. I was very worried at the back end of the year when I read in one of the threads that autumn was not the best time and to wait until spring. Healthy or what - HEALTHY!

Then went Birthday present buying followed by lunch at my daughters also trying to teach her to crochet (difficult as she is left-handed) back home to work on the patio and then guess what- RAIN and plenty of it. Friend called round for a shoulder to cry on and now a bit of 'me' time - so what better than to sign into GC.
