    Aloha everyone,

Loli, not sure but I understood the 21st was the quarter day which welcomes the spring. I suppose we shall losing an hour very shortly.

WOO it is good to see you dear but so sorry to hear you are a bit out of sorts. Get well soon love. Very down myself think this weather is to blame.

Shiney, think Hannah will have to get some of her special medicine out for you to help you get better soon. Some lovely photos of madeira but that poor cat it is almost as if he has lost someone close to him. Probably just missed catching a mouse but he does look sad. Bless him.

Well those birds are getting through those coconuts. Steve and I made up a dozen last week those and a couple more have gone. They are getting through two a day at the moment. I have got the ingredients out and must make them on my own as we have only three left and fourteen coconuts to fill and Steve is busy at work. Still I bought a big bag of meal worms yesterday so I can include some of them in them.

Have a good day all. God bless. Keep well everyone and those under the weather get well soon.

    Aloha!:wub2:

      Aloha everyone,

Feeling a little brighter this morning than I have done for a while. I think that is because the sun is trying to come out. I have my sheets in the washing machine on the highest number as Amber has made them filthy. I hope they will come clean otherwise I shall be throwing them away and buying more. I only have three sets which should be enough but she is gradually ruining them all. Oh what it is to love a dog.

Shiney, Woo and Kandy and everyone else who is under the weather I hope you are all on the mend.

Must take Amber to the vets she seems to have got something irritating her ears.

Oh well have a good day everyone. God bless.

      Aloha!:wub2:

        Aloha everyone,

I'm feeling a lot better today :dancy: and hope all of you are doing so too.

Moyra, I hope Amber is better soon. :blue thumb:

That cat was really sad. He seemed to be part of a litter of lovely cats but one of his eyes was weeping a bit. I wonder whether it was troubling him a lot. Here was another shot of him and one of his siblings.

It's a lovely sunny day but cold day and I'm keeping warm indoors.:)

Keep well and have a great day

Mr Shiney, something tells me he has cat flu? I don't know why I think that but it is serious if he has. Hate seeing animals poorly - it gets to me...

Sad about the cat because he looks as if he is one you could easily love.

            Update on the student 'experience'.

Turns out we *all* felt/experienced the same issues - even our Spanish Teacher with their exchange teacher! (and our Spanish teacher *is* Spanish! :roflol: )

Shiney, therein lies a teeny difference: *you* cook your dinner and you are not on an exchange trip ;) :heehee:

Thank goodness both my boys finish "school life" at the end of May and I won't have to even think about any more "school" trips ever again! Mind you, that just means we're in full throttle ahead for Uni visits. First one on Saturda ... in Lincoln :wallbanging: we're doing it as a day trip because of Mr Mum's shifts. So, early doors Saturday morning to make it there for 9am. It's going to be a looooong day. Thankfully, I do enjoy travelling (just not Mr Mum's driving!) and I love seeing new places. My tactic will be to nod off in the car while Mr Mum is driving and only be awake for my driving stint :heehee: We're no strangers to "day trips" up and down the country but we're not getting any younger and I think it does begin to take it's toll a little more?

Tomorrow we pick up a hire car for the weekend; seems a silly expense to me, but, in Mr Mum's own words: "I'll drive faster in a hire car"

Get well vibes to those who need them.

            Miles of smiles

              Good morning everyone.

Snowing here at the moment since ten last night and is getting blown about quiet a bit, swirling in fact as the wind seems to be coming from all directions.I filled up the bird feeders yesterday tea time but the birds are not up yet so will have to go and chuck some more out for the ground feeders:biggrin:

Think the snow is going on until at least Sunday so won't be getting much done gardening wise and my neighbour said the other day this cold weather is going on until April so will get the seed spuds and veggie seeds in the ground in June:gaah:

Have a good day everyone and be careful when out and about:smile:

              Aloha everyone,

You'll be able to see my garden (just) from the car as you go by. If you fancy stopping off for a break (either direction) you'd be most welcome - I'm sure I can rustle up a bite to eat. Detouring to us only adds five miles to your journey. :blue thumb: I'll PM our phone number

It started snowing at 5.55 a.m. but it's not settling.:)

It's another laze around day today until I have to go to bridge at 7.30 p.m. I won all the bridge matches I've played in the last three days :dbgrtmb:. The mind's staying active even if the body isn't :heehee:

Take care and have a great day

                Aloha everyone,

Well no snow yet but that wind is bitingly cruel out there. I have put some extra seed and coconuts out for the birds to make sure they can get some fat into their little bodies to keep warm. Hope the roads stay clear so I can get Amber to the vet this afternoon. Hope I am not going to have any shananigans getting her into the back of the car. I think she should be ok. Her ears played her up bad last night. I am wondering if her dirty habit of eating things she shouldn't may be responsible for it.

I hope everyone is ok and keep tucked up warm and safe for whatever the weather throws at us all. I have just realized got so carried away with doing things early this morning I forgot my routine of taking all my tablets and putting the rest of the days doses by in my pill box. So better later than never! Oh dear where is my brain this morning. Take care all, have a good day, God bless.

                Aloha!:wub2:
