Yes, so do I it was sad last night when she kept shaking her head because they were playing up. I take her at 3pm so hopefully they can do something for her.

Are your boys ok now Loli?

It's awfull to see them uncomfortable isn't it Moyra.....my old boy used to suffer with his ears.....apparently he had very narrow ear canals .....infections would easily set in as it made for a nice warm place for the bugs to breed.....he used to shake his head frantically untill one day he ended up with a very large haematoma on it and had to be operated on...it looked awfull but soon mended....his was a rare condition though ,i'm sure with some drops and maybe anti-B's Amber will be fine:dbgrtmb: :doggieshmooze:

My two are fine thanks Moyra...Theo is still on his steriods and he's turning into Humpty Dumpty ....but it will be a slow process weening him off them.....

Good luck at the vets, Moyra.

Well, Mr Mum has collected the hire car and has driven it in to work on the basis that "it will give me a chance to familiarise myself with all the knobs".
Now, interestingly, as I'm supposed to be sharing the driving load, I can only ponder on when *I* get to familiarise myself with the knobs  Good job I'm a confident driver, eh! I'll make sure not to wear heels so I don't damage the clutch though :heehee: Thank goodness his other preferred hopeful is closer to home and he can catch the bus!

Thankfully, other son has informed me that he isn't considering Aberdeen any more :phew: just Swansea and Portsmouth  :roflol:

Let's just hope they get through these exams with sufficient marks to make all of this worth it! If they don't ... :nonofinger: :paladin:

Nice to see you WOO do take care of yourself my friend.

Well Loli and Mum, Amber excelled herself at the vets good as gold especially since there were quite a few other dogs there. She climbed into the back of the car without any trouble whatsoever so I think she has accepted the car now. I had to go to the bank on the way to the vets and it is the first time I have walked her in public so to speak she has only walked round the greens and the fields here at home. But I took her into the bank with me and she sat down and waited while I was served. I was really proud of her. She has got to have the drops put in her ears twice a day so lets hope that it will cure the infection she has in her ears. Must have a look at what else I have to get done today, Take care everyone, Shiney hope you are feeling a bit better today. Mum you mind how you go driving that unfamiliar car. Have a good evening everyone. God bless.

People like you make up for the idiots in this world. Just had to say that. We are still hoping to get to your garden opening.
Nothing to say, feel a bit like I am treading water still. Hope Woo is feeling better.

          Aloha everyone,

Woo, good to see you back :blue thumb:. Take care :)

Moyra, Well done - both of you! :dbgrtmb:

Jazmine, thank you. Hope things are picking up

          Loli, how's your cold going?

Yesterday morning's snow petered out very quickly and the sun came out. So, instead of lazing around I got some mowing done :dancy:

The light snow started again a few hours ago but has got heavier now. Mrs Shiney went to the Ideal Home Show the other day and says she has some interesting photos for me to show on GC. I can't download them yet as she's taking her camera with her to a flower show in Royston today (about 45 minutes away).

Friends coming for dinner tonight so I can get working on that later.

          Have a great day

Aloha Everyone, I am so late today. Just got back from walking Amber in the snow blizzard that is going on at the moment. Thought we had got away with it fairly light now it is making up for it.

Good to see you WOO and Jazmine, just you two look after yourselves. Loli, yes you have to be proud of your dogs when they behave themselves when they are out.

Thank you Loli and Shiney for your appreciation of mine and Ambers achievements.

Idon't know what to do for dinner tonight but I think whatever it is it ought to be warming. I expect Steve might like to have his chilli prawns he does like them.

Oh well everyone do look after yourselves, keep warm and stay safe and if you must go out in it do be careful. Have a lovely afternoon.

            Aloha! :wub2:

              Aloha everyone,

We had a good time with our guests last night and were reminiscing on old times (when I were a lad!) and on the old folk, jazz and pop musicians. I started playing some of my old records and then realised they were between 60 and 90 years old!!!!! (Even got some that are Speed 80 and not 78) :heehee:

I've got a big, national, bridge tournament today. I hope my cough/cold doesn't affect my concentration and play. I'm feeling quite a bit better but now have a chesty cough, which is a nuisance.

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha!

                Aloha everyone,

Shiney, I wish you all the luck in the world with your tournament today. Go for it man.

WOO, hope things are improving with you.

Loli, that cold of yours has also held on a long time too. I hope you can throw it off soon.

Just been watching the Maylasian Grand Prix. Lot of disharmony between some team members! Still makes it interesting.

I hope everyone is ok, we have had more snow but it is the cold bitter wind that is so cruel that does it for me when walking Amber. Take care everyone and stay safe and warm. God bless.

                Aloha!:wub2:
