    Aloha everyone,

Also sunny and snowy here. I've been up to feed Monty and he gave me a head butt as thanks :cat-kittyandsmiley:

I'm still chesty but feeling a bit better. Not going to let it stop me doing things :). We've some friends popping in for a cuppa in 15 minutes and some more coming later on. I may try and carry on with the edges of the lawn this afternoon.

Moyra, take care that Amber doesn't put too much strain on you. :blue thumb:

Keep well everyone and have a great day

    Aloha!

    Good afternoon everyone:smile:

I am running late today despite being up early. We have had some more snow flakes and it is bitter out there so decided against going out for the day due to the weather and possible crowds at all the attractions with the kids off school.:snork:

I am also kitty sitting for friends who have gone to find some rain in the South of France:snork: Strange thing is that when i go to look after them they always turn feral again flattening of the ears and hissing at me,but are fine when their parents are home and always rub round me and want fuss and their tummies tickled :what:

We have been down to Mr T's and spent a fortune and managed to get some more pyrex but don't know where we are going to store it all as the kitchen we have is quiet small and i am running out of cupboard space:frown:

Rang our local radio station and had a nice chat with the lovely JVS on his treasure quest programme and then went off and directed Annabel down to the coffee shop in our village to pick up the next clue so will have a listen later on on iplayer/listen again to see if i do talk like a Cockney:biggrin: No doubt i shall be asked for my autograph in future when i walk round the village:biggrin:

We have just had something to eat and will be going off for a walk soon to see if we can find some more snow drifts like the ones we have in the village.

    Have a good afternoon everyone:smile:

        Aloha everyone,

Well it is quite a nice morning and the birds are happy as we have just made up another dozen coconuts for them. They are getting through two and three a day now. Trouble is the more you put out the more they eat!

Jazmine, hope you get the news you are waiting for, I also hope every one else who was below par are now feeling much much better.

Have a good day everyone and take care and wrap up warm.

        Aloha!:wub2:

Just checking in. Get well wishes to all. Too cold for me to garden at the moment. Enjoying the sunshine though.

          Aloha everyone,

I hope everyone is well and that Jazmine and hubby have good news. :)

A sunny day today :blue thumb:. We went for a drive to a nursery and had a look at the plants with no intention of buying any. Spent £50 , but got over 40 plants.

          Have a great Easter

          Aloha!

Wonder what you bought for that Shiney. Steve is going to treat me to whatever plants and seed I need for my birthday and Christmas presents but we keep waiting for the weather to change.

Yes, Mum, I am about to sign out but was wondering if Shiney was going to let on as to what he has been spending his hard earned money on today. Still I shall have to be patient and wait until tomorrow to find out. Night night all, God bless.

Hope everyone is enjoying Easter. We had an early trip to the walk in centre as infection has set in Ohs wound. Antibiotics, iodine dressing and a check on it on Tuesday. It never rains...
Despite this we went to our family BBQ, 17 of us and although it was cooked outside we ate in. It was good to be around others and think of other things.

Jazmine - so sorry to hear what your OH is enduring; wishing him speedy get well wishes. Thank goodness for walk-in centres! Totally agree that there are times when being around (and thinking of) others can bring things into perspective.

Wishing you better things to come :grphg:

Well, it's tomorrow now :heehee: and we're back home.

We bought a load of ersymums () erysimums, some aquilegias, lots of thyme (golden and red creeping) and some sedums (including Cape Blanco). They were not quite as you would normally buy them in the garden centres but were suitable for us to use for propagating. The nursery is a professional one and grows for the trade but is open to the public. The owner knows we open the garden for charity and gives us a special price for the type of plants we get from him.
